Dark Hero Days has nothing to do with Cursed Memories as a subtitle though, which is why I didn't list it.
I do think Afternoon and Detention's titles were purposely chosen to kinda poke fun at how pretentious and misleadingly serious the subtitles for the original games were though.

I think the intention is that they're "lighter" version of the main subtitles because they're portable.
Anyway, why is this game a PS 4 exclusive? This makes me sad.

Afternoon of Darkness may also relate to how long the game is if you want to fully complete it.

Could be that too, though I do think it's something that the two subtitles that sounded the most pretentious and had the least to do with the game itself were the ones who got the parody titles for the portable versions (with Dark Hero Days being an all new title and A Promised Revisited being...kinda more of a compliment to the original title).

It reportedly was going to be multi-platform, but they instead opted to focus on what they could do with the PS 4's improvements.
To be fair, they are indeed revisiting the promise.

If you mean why it isn't on PC, it has evidently has a stigma in Japan to some degree (could have fooled me, but I digress), and their poor choices in PC ports failed to sell well.

If you honestly don't think Etna would be the same person if she was a necromancer, I have have some questions for you.

So does anyone have any guesses on which characters from other NIS games are going to appear in Disgaea 5. (I'm going to take a wild guess that the cast of Criminal Girls will appear.) The usual suspects will return (NISA, Asagi, Zetta) along with some of the DLC characters that were labeled as monster class in D2 (Metallia).

Maybe this character will be actually enjoyable, even if just in the "love to hate" villain way.
I know I bitched about this before, but Etna always kinda fell flat for me as a character. She was just kinda a snarky bitch who mistreated her subordinates and never got comeuppance for it. Admittingly had hidden depths to her...which were undermined by her lack of real presence in the game past the first act and ignored by all of her future appearances.
Tee hee. Flat.
Laharl, Etna, Flonne, duh. Pleinair and Asagi are also very likely. Zetta and the mains/darkhorses from prior Disgaea games are also likely. Maybe we'll get one or two characters from less popular games (maybe as DLC?)

Asagi, Nisa, Zetta, Petta, Pram, Devourlord Revya, Ariael Agarie as a demon, Carona, Fake Zenon (somehow), Actress (with a proper name, maybe?), Virunga, and humanoid Tink.
Blarg, I may have to give this up and try prinny bomb. I've got a level 9999 mushroom I'm tryin to whittle down with a gun and two axes but I'm not sure if I can bring it down anytime soon to damage it and deal the finishing blow with early game level 34 characters.
I've done this before but I had an infinite counter to make it much faster by keeping my target's speed down the entire time.
