Hey Cassie, I'm not sure how much you've watched about Neptune V but if you can answer this question it'd be awesome. Piishi called Rei momma several times before the battle in chapter 10 I think. Is because it's really her daughter or did Rei say that Piishi could call her momma earlier in the story?

Pishe was tricked, abducted and brainwashed by Anondess (that girly guy bot) and modified into a CPU. As a measure, he made himself her daddy and Rei into her mommy. Good thing is, original Rei is keen on having her as a daughter, so it's sort of Becoming the Mask in its own way.

About the representation of the Crash in Neptune V: ET isn't referenced. Just that in the best ending requirement, you're supposed to unlock 7 dungeons and watch all 7 Rei Flashbacks. They all clarified that she was a poor girl left for dead, and Croire is this game's Chaos Mentor: gave her a dark flame and she ate it. With Great Power Comes Great Insanity ensues, and she became a bloodthirsty tyrant of a singular nation called Tari. Since the brink of her deposement, she rage quitted being a CPU, and thus Everybody Dies. Thousands of years later, it's a Freudian Excuse of hers that she believes that goddesses are not needed. At chapter 10, she comes around.

To avoid plot confusion if you HAPPEN to watch the playthrough vids, There are two Reis. One in Neptune's world and another in 1989 world. The latter is who I call Original Rei, while I'm at it, the one at the start of the game is alternate Rei. All Reis across other dimensions, when at the right conditions, can become psycho Tari CPU Rei after ingesting the blue flame

Huh, is it just me or do Disgaea 2 majins seem to kinda suck? They don't really seem worth the effort to unlock.

I think the consensus is that yes, Disgaea 2 and 3 Majins suck, especially considering how hard they are to unlock.

The Androids are a little better. They have more move and throw than the Majins do, and slightly better growths. (Also, this is more D3/4 than 2, but the 2 Evilities the Android differs from the Majin on, the Android's are better IMO) However, whether or not they are worth it either...

Also, trying real hard to avoid Neptune spoilers.

Skill buffs in the D3 port seem to make them plenty usable in that game, from what I've heard. (Can't be arsed to make a NG+ on any of the games for whatever reason, though, even for those units.)
