No, I think it's just an event you can trigger by having MU talk to Marc.
Don't PM me. We don't like being PMed.Forgot this one.
Mark's boss name is ??? and his model is generic Sorcerer along with that Gimle-like headdress (when I see the model for the first time, I thought the class has something to do with dragons) that covers his face. But it's not really a disguise if IS only slightly shadowing his portrait and using his voiceclips.
At the end of the mission, after talking with Lucina, Tiki is attacked by MU... I think? I think it's the same as that hooded MU from the artbook.
On the side note, watching the Swordmasters jump-slash their opponents with that slightly funky parabola is more amusing than I thought. It's like Final Fantasy's gravity law being applied in Fire Emblem.

So... next DLC will be another Future of Despair chapter...
Chambray and Brady are trying to escape, while Wood and Azure are acting as decoys—from a large pursuing army.
Who wants to bet that female Mark will be leading the army?
Fantastic Supreme Überkaiser Emperor Folt of The Infinity and Beyond" ... "The First"!That would be Gimle. MU's hooded portrait is used in the Fire Emblem World site for Gimle!MU.
Probably not? Even if the first one isn't required to download the second, they are still part of the same set. Marc is Marc is Marc.
Don't PM me. We don't like being PMed.I think this is slightly old news, but one of those fan-info book things has been announced for Awakening. Fire Emblem Awakening Material Collection: Knights of Iris.
There be more official arts, such as Anna art shown in the previews.

Don't PM me. We don't like being PMed.Future of Despair chapter 2; save Wood, Azure, Chambray, and Brady from pursuing enemies.
The battle goes on bridges, the north end is blocked by Azure and Wood, that connecting giant chasms. The enemies AI seems to ignore the party members and focus on killing the children. Basically, enemies zerg rush the children in a bottle-necked map, except for the Dark Pegasus that leisurely crosses the chasms to attack the escapees and some enemies try to ambush the escapees' path.
The map boss is Dragonmaster female Mark with Lightning Speed and Hauteclere, again avoid the fight by talking with MU and have a (very) long convo with the male MU

I am seeing a theme with "enemies basically focus on killing wimpy/ill equipped kids" Basically, the entire DLC set is one big escort mission, with the escort targets a ways away from you and in constant danger.
Also, didn't expect female Marc actually. I guess this means parts 1 and 2 aren't in continuity with each other, which...kinda defeats the point of having them be a set IMO. So we now have 3 Bad Future worlds which are close in content to each other, but not quite the same. Huh.

Don't PM me. We don't like being PMed.So female Mark is the boss of Chapter 2?
Called it!
Fantastic Supreme Überkaiser Emperor Folt of The Infinity and Beyond" ... "The First"!If part 3 has genderless/transgender/whatever Marc, I quit.
Don't PM me. We don't like being PMed.A Time Paradox meeting of the two is the obvious solution!
I sure said that!Maybe it will have both at the same time?
Fantastic Supreme Überkaiser Emperor Folt of The Infinity and Beyond" ... "The First"!Though seriously, I wouldn't be surprised if one of the bosses for this set, if not the final boss, was a even tougher version of Final Boss!Gimle.

Don't PM me. We don't like being PMed.Me neither.
Fantastic Supreme Überkaiser Emperor Folt of The Infinity and Beyond" ... "The First"!Chapter 3 announced. Lucina, Selena, Jerome, and Lorant fighting encamped on stairs to block of reinforcements. It's just that the stairs are much more than those four, they end up getting swarmed anyway.
Looks like it's the last Fot D map. Kind of disappointed because it's not an Ultimate Training, I think IS tries to damp the fans' riot over this set first. I saw some DLC videos in NND and people are crying for more backstory.
On the side note, I got my hands on Sacred Stones. On 2 hours playtime, practically solo some maps with lvl 5 knight Amelia, lvl 14 archer Neimi, and lvl 16 mage Lute. Is this normal? Should I switch Neimi with someone?

Neimi has never disappointed me outside of meh HP
So. Let's all pause for a moment to smell what the Rock was, is, and forever will be... cooking.—Cave JohnsonBeen out of the loop for a while, but I just learned Ursula is a DLC character for Awakening. I think she's a great character, but I'm kind of surprised because I never got the impression she was all that popular.
Spotpass, not DLC.
For the record, the DLC characters to date are Marth, Roy, Micaiah, Leaf, Magic Fighter Alm, Celice, Eltshan, Elincia, Bride Eirika, Lyn, Ephraim, Cellica, Ike, Est, Catria, and Palla.
Don't PM me. We don't like being PMed.Well, sorry...
Technically Spotpass is still Downloadable Content, right?
Only the sun has stopped. It is. Though when most gamers talk about DLC, they talk about the things you have to pay for.
Fantastic Supreme Überkaiser Emperor Folt of The Infinity and Beyond" ... "The First"!Why are you apologizing?
Future of Despair 3. Endless reinforcements.
Lucina, Selena, Lorant, and Jerome plan an attack directly to Gimle's HQ, but get ambushed first by Gimle, who then summons that spiked floor trap from the Ultimate Training map and reduces their HP to one. Selena puts herself between Lucina and Gimle because if she dies, there would be no one who can truly kill Gimle (and also because her mother would not be pleased if Krom's daughter gets killed). Jerome and Lorant follow suit and forming a barricade in front of Lucina, and Lucina has a guilt-trip at the notion of abandoning her friends.
Suddenly, the entire Krom's army drops down on Gimle and surround him. He just teleports himself away to the other side of the map and summons his own army, papering every sides of the map with enemies. There are 12 portal stairs where reinforcement comes out near where he stands that will churn units out every turn. NPC Lucina is a Lord of the map; she's killed and it's game over.
the map boss is of course Gimle (he laughs a lot), equipped with Absolute Hit, Evil Dragon Scale, and Holy Shield and basically fought like the final boss of the main game on steroid (same level, but higher stats) and the objective is simply to kill the boss.
After the boss is killed it seems like Gimle escapes MU's body just before the killing blow, leaving the confused and disoriented MU dying instead.
...Actually that makes sense.
In the Bad Future, Gimle is at full power, and has his body resurrected. He doesn't need MU. Once the human form drops dead. Gimle can just transfer his soul into the Dragon form and fly off. The reason he couldn't do that in the normal game is because Dragon!Gimle was technically a separate person with a separate soul, the same way Playable!Lucina and Baby!Lucina are separate people.
Of course, this does go into the problem of MU and Gimle being connected, and the ending of the main game more or less saying that for Gimle to die for good, MU needs to sacrifice his life to do so (though he gets better).
I admit, I may just be talking BS now.
Don't PM me. We don't like being PMed.
Is this a DLC thing or can you take the nonlethal option with any enemy now?
Only the sun has stopped.
