Continue the bloodline, Fujimaru!Speaking of FE 10 being kinda stale in endgame-usable units, how disappointed were you to realize all your efforts to train laguz units were a waste of time and EXP because of the royals? Or are you like me and just never used laguz units to begin with?

I never used Laguz in Po R anyways so it didn't bother me when's i got the royals, the only ones I've used are the ones I'm forced to(Ranulf, Skrimir, Volug, etc). Janaff and Skrimir were helpful in the desert map at least. Most end up being dead weight though.
Apparently Volug can be essentially a second Nailah if you train him though.
Also I'm on endgame 3 right now. Second attempt since Ike missed a 95% attack with the blue wyrmslayer and ate an Ire and died. Really wish I had remembered to take skills off the units I didn't bring, I could really use Nihil and Cancel right now.

Interesting tidbit from that gameplay footage: Awakening Mode gives you the weapon triangle advantage no matter what you're using; Camilla used it while fighting Corrin and gained the advantage despite using an axe against her sword.
Also, speaking of Camilla, she says "My eyes are up here" during her victory animation. As if I needed further reason to dislike her.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!I've used laguz alongside the royals before. I always bring Ranulf to endgame.
Song of the SirensThat just makes me like her more.
Were the console and 3DS releases supposed to happen at the same time? Cause if they are I'm surprised we haven't seen anything involving the latter.
If anything, Radiant Dawn is swimming in endgame-usable units. You can even use up to two cats with no real drawback for the entire endgame because they can just snort a laguz gem and stay shifted all chapter long.
Other than cat laguz, Astrid, and Leonardo, most "bad" units are at least pretty okay.
That said, the Laguz royals are definitely a slap in the face to all your work, since even the weakest of them is better than pretty much anything else from the moment they arrivem

Sounds like the inspiration for the Fates royals.
If everyone were normal, the world would be a dull place. Like reality television.Re cats: Ranulf's base stats mean he's nowhere near as bad as the other two.
But yeah. You're probably better off with a Hawk/Tiger.
Song of the SirensEh, the simple limits of being a cat make Ranulf worse than any tiger, dragon, or bird. My Lethe and Lyre are highly effective murder machines... for two out of every five turns. Even Kyza is more useful simply because tigers don't burn out their transformation gauge nearly as fast.
60 FPS Musou certainly is an attractive proposition.
Our TV is crap and doesn't display 1080p (even though it claims to), so I guess I'm sticking with 720p.
60 FPS is also cool.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Hmm, this is a tough call. I have a good TV that could do 1080, but 60 FPS is also an appealing option. I'll have to try both.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Framerate boost at a miniscule difference in "pees"? Great!
I'm somewhat divided on skill inheritance for my Kana in Conquest: do I give her Sol or Savage Blow from Velouria?
She's getting Rend Heaven from Corrin, so I'm somewhat leaning towards Savage Blow. Kana could also later dip into Wolfssenger for Better Odds and Grizzly Wound if I have the money/chapters left.
Go with Savage Blow if you want to combine the damage inflicted onto nearby units with Grisly Wound. If you want Kana to be able to heal in battle instead, go with Sol.
Speaking of Fates, I finally completed the Support conversations between Keaton and Benny, something I forgot to do in my previous playthrough. I really liked the C conversation, because Keaton shows Benny a dead bat with blue fur, long thin legs, and is supposedly special because you can't find it in just any cave.
I guess in the world of Fates, Zubat doesn't count as a Com Mon.
Went with Savage Blow, because it has more utility and always triggers, unlike Sol, though Sol is great for tanking if you can get ludicrous SKL. Now she can be a raging dragon rushing into enemy crowds and softening up several enemies at once.
Grisly Wound affects only one unit though, right? But I suppose it's nice to have when Kana is tanking it up with a Dragon Stone and the enemy tries to be clever with 2 range.
Whe nI equipped Alm with the Lightning Sword his attack stat got greyed out. Is it that the sword giving him +15 attack makes the game think he has capped that stat and can't level it up anymore while holding the weapon, or is there something else going on here?
I believe the Lightning Sword always has 15 mt, regardless of attack stat
The Lightning Sword is a bit different in that it replaces your attack stat with 15, rather than adding 15 on.
So it's really powerful early on, but once you start getting stronger weapons it becomes more valuable for its magic damage rather than its might.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique! So I don't have to worry about removing the weapon to not screw up Alm's stat gains?
Correct. The stat will still grow even when it's not being used.
Though personally I recommend giving the Lightning Sword to someone else with a weaker Strength stat. Alm's got better weapons to use.

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique! If you made one of the villagers a Mercenary, they use it pretty well.
Lightning Sword always does fixed magic damage of 15. So it ignores the user's actual attack stat when calculating damage.
Tomes in Fire Emblem Warriors are named through the weapon schematics instead of what spells they possess, mainly because the magic users have all the spells that they need for their movesets to work: So Bronze Tome, Iron Tome, Steel Tome, and so forth.
