On a related note, Lucina's voice actress also does one of the voices for the Boss in Saints Row, with pretty much the same tone. Nothing quite like Lucina saying things like "we need to put more stripper poles in the oval office." Daddy's little girl.

Laura Bailey is an actress who's everywhere, and honestly, her voice is just so goddamn smooth, soft, and flexible, that everywhere is exactly where she should be.

I like Awakening and If's art style. It's part of the reason I'm getting If and considered getting Awakening along with the fact that I've heard Awakening is a good entry for newcomers.

How did I not realize that? I played Saints' Row the Third for months with that voice!

I mean, I knew she was Fetch in inFamous: Second Son too, but she gives Fetch an accent (Boston, I think?).

I like SS's designs best, but I also like the Awakening and If designs a lot. Practicality and fanservice are not concerns of mine, I like how stylized everything is in terms of character. Chrom's Great Lord design that everyone maligns, for instance, I find a great mix of royal and rugged and encapsulates his character perfectly. I care more about that than "but his outfit is so impractical for a battlefield guys!!!".

And while I won't pretend not to enjoy the fanservice, I've no real opinion on Camilla yet. Whether or not I like her will come down to her worth as a character (and unit), not the percentage of tits exposed.

I'm really disappointed that Lucina video contains basically none of my favourite Laura Bailey Boss lines.

Count me in team Sacred Stones for the designs. They all seem to work very well in general.

Awakening is at 1.79 million sales. Looks like the good word of mouth has carried it even further than I would've thought.

If you're referring to Isolation, that was a misunderstanding. They didn't say Isolation's sales were disappointing, they said game sales in general were disappointing. That includes such gems like Sonic Boom. I think they consider Isolation a success.

In any event, Awakening sure was an unexpected success. Not only are game sales high, but they also sold DLC and future merchandise like the Robin and Lucina amiibos. Still don't see this carrying over to If, though it can probably hit 1 million.

Yet another misinformed gag falls flat. Whoop whoop.

I'm mostly confident this hype train will carry over to If. It couldn't have come at a better time; Awakening is still fresh in the memory of many people (It's been an obsession with the tumblr/deviantart circles for quite some time), and enough time has passed for those same people to crave for more.

It's also the honeymoon phase for a lot of fans. FE's still a new thing to a lot of folks, so the kind of jaded resignation most people have with other franchises hasn't settled in.

Yeah, I have no doubt If will sell like hotcakes. Maybe not as well as Awakening, but it'll definitely move a lot of copies.

Smash 4 only introduced more people to FE. I think If will sell better, even.

I played some Gaiden. It shows its wrinkles, but it is a fun game.

That being said, there is a mercenary in one of the maps that can double all of you, and that fight was the worst.

Here's to hoping. She's just great.

The growths in this game are awe-inspiringly low, by the way. I presume, though, that the game's scaled to those growths, so I'll be even more desensitized to shit levels than I usually am.
