I'm just basically paranoid and constantly checking my back.
Like, I have a full convoy of weapons in The Sacred Stones, and have to have my reserve units carry excess weapons around, and I'm still scared that I'm going to run out.
Don't PM me. We don't like being PMed.You know, looking at the classes, I'm wondering if most of the royal family members on each side will have a unique class line for them. (Obviouly, they will be similiar to the usual classes) The only exceptions seems to be Marx (and I'm guessing maybe Ryouma as well) who appear to have unique weapons instead.
Fantastic Supreme Überkaiser Emperor Folt of The Infinity and Beyond" ... "The First"!My theory is more that the two sides will have exclusive classes, to show the differences in culture and aesthetic (and to allow the game to just load up the "correct" model without having to fiddle with setting up multiple models for the same class).
Like, we know Hoshido has Pegasus Warrior, so Nohr will have the traditional Pegasus Knight.
Still don't know why Camilla and Elise have completely new classes instead of just, well, Wyvern Rider and Cleric though.
Don't PM me. We don't like being PMed.Rod Knight is more like a Troubadour/Valkyrie, I think.
(Mostly, because the playing cards indicate that Elise can cast magic.)
Fantastic Supreme Überkaiser Emperor Folt of The Infinity and Beyond" ... "The First"!Fair enough. I can get that.
Don't PM me. We don't like being PMed.on the plus side
HOLY SHIT NINE SAVE SLOTS
Enjoyment and Excitement!Weapon durability is largely a game of managing my 1~2 range spam (which have innately lower durability) such that they don't break in the middle of an enemy phase. Other than that, it was generally pretty situational, such as managing the Jeigan's Silver Lance, or figuring out what to pass around to who in Radiant Dawn runs where at the very start of a new part, 1~2 range weapons weren't buyable for a couple chapters. Oh, and making sure to manage the Thunder and Fire tome usage over the course of Prologue through C3 in my Resetless Lunatic+ runs (both tomes breaking in C3 thanks to overuse was a very real danger, which, I guess, worse comes to worst, can be solved by Hammertime Fred if Raimi doesn't bring Counter to the table).
And a thing to note about Awakening: the game pretty much throws up-to-date weapons at the player in the map(s) right before they'd become buyable. This to the point that it's possible to beat Lunatic without ever visiting a shop and while banning out use of Falcions, Renown and Bonus Box (this is also tentatively possible on Lunatic+, but excessive Pav Gis+ could easily cause big problems, because weapons do get a little tight in the very middle of the game; also, not being able to reclass Robin until C8 might be a bit rough).
FE: Genealogy Story Run 7PM PT Sun, Mon, Fri; Expert Unicorn Overlord 7PM PT Wed, Thurs: http://www.twitch.tv/kuroitsubasatenshiPheonix mode seems kinda pointless. Like, it's almost literally impossible to lose. But I won't play it anyway. I just hope that Casual Mode is the "default" setting, since the default is what most beginners will pick. I think most beginners will have a better time with Casual mode, since it is beatable while still being an actual game.
Casual mode is just as impossible to lose as pheonix mode.
Units so vastly outclass enemy units that the ability to keep going after loosing one make chapter difficulty a non issue.
They just took and made "Imposible to loose" even more imposible.
Pretty sure Lunatic and Lunatic+ disagree with you.
I still want "Reverse Phoenix" mode, where the enemies can revive themselves.
Especially if the player can't.
Don't PM me. We don't like being PMed.Wouldn't all the missions boil down to hoping that the AI kills itself on every map where you're outnumbered?
Wait they revive at the end of the turn. I thought you'd need a healer to bring them back. If that was the case, the game would be a big shoot the medic first.
Hyped for Hyperdimension Neptunia V 2Oh oh.
Reverse Lunatic Phoenix.
Combines Lunatic+ mode with my "Reverse Phoenix" idea, and Lunatic- from New Mystery (where the enemy always attacks first in combat, even if the player engaged).
Also, Casual and Phoenix are locked out of this mode.
Well? Doesn't that sound fun?

Don't PM me. We don't like being PMed.With Phoenix mode, no weapon durability and Auto-battle, the game will literally play itself.
But how will you grind supports? Clearly, your analogy is flawed.
Don't PM me. We don't like being PMed.Sounds like someone wants to play Dark Souls Fire Emblem edition. Just throw in p v p where other players can screw you over and you're good to go.
Okay jokes aside, no way. The entire game would be a case of letting your enemies attack first then killing them when they attack which just boggles my mind how that's going to work.

Hyped for Hyperdimension Neptunia V 2What's Camilla's class again?
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.archer i think?
Camilla is Revenant Knight, which from what we've seen seems to be a Wyvern Rider variant. At the very least, she uses an axe.

Don't PM me. We don't like being PMed.oh right, i was thinking of takumi.
I'm not gonna play Phoenix mode, so it doesn't really matter, but for the record I think it's stupid and can't imagine how it would be any fun even for its intended audience.
The lack of weapons breaking is kind of scary to me. Obviously they would have to make a ton of changes to weapon availability to account for that (ie: you only have 1 handaxe so you have to choose who gets it), but more that that I find breaking Iron and Steel weapons to be incredibly satisfying, so a Fire Emblem game without that would probably be less enjoyable to me. Probably.

I still kinda wonder if unbreakable weapons will be exclusive to Phoenix Mode, or perhaps are instead a consolation for the forced progression in Nohr's route.
I sure said that!Phoenix Mode sounds boring. Probably intended for kids.
The game's plot still really interests me.
do people really have trouble with weapon durability? it always seems a non-issue in pretty much every game unless you refused to downgrade at any point in time.
