A few observations:
- Larva's final spell reminds me a lot of Rumia's Demarcation Ring. This has been around a while now, but now there's a reason for it
- Stage 4 is a lot like PCB stage 3
- I think the whole (meta-story) point of the game was to set up Marisa with her own youkai sage patron, like Yukari is to Reimu. Which makes me wonder what ZUN has planned
Next arc: clash of the sages?
If it's true it's funny how Reimu, a shrine maiden who serves gods, is assisted by a youkai, while Marisa, a witch, is assisted by a god.
Although I feel like it's more likely going to be a standalone incident, rather than a new Mo F.
Oh, and the reason Naruko is a magician rather than a tsukumogami is that she's animated by magical energy like the other magicians, rather than the... youkai energy? that tsukumogami are
Eh, feels like an introduction type story to me. Ultimately not much in the way of stakes and introduces someone who'll stick around. Compare DDC and LoLK, which were actual problems and ended with the new cast not having much reason to reappear
Can statues even become tsukumogami? I wouldn't really qualify them as tools.

I want to see her and Yukari get into a spat. Yukari opens a gap, Okina forces it to adhere to a door frame and shuts it, Yukari makes a gap expand from the crack between the shut doors, and so on.
Assuming Yukari isn't one of Okina's masks, anyway. That would be pretty disappointing.

Well, the point of the entire incident was primarily to greet the other sages with a bang, so I'm pretty sure Okina and Yukari are two separate people.
Most Tsukomugami are motived by their resentment from being discarded like trash. Narumi wasn't discarded like trash so she's probably completely different from a Tsukomugami both in terms of the energy that powers her (magic instead of resentment) and in terms of personality.
(Kogasa is surprising everyone because she wants revenge on humans, and the instruments wanted to conquer the world as a way of revenge, too. At least, originally for all of them)
