It's an unfortunate case of Japanese Ranguage making it hard to confirm the intended spelling.
Although, Lumia is a pretty good name for when Seija flips Rumia into a living lamp.
Murdering time and space. Now on Twitter.I'm perfectly fine with Lumia. Arguably an improvement. The "no" stuff is also unstandable, imo. What bugs me most is that they seem to have copied the touhouwiki and gone with Rei'sen, which is an abomination that does cruel and terrible things to an innocent apostrophe.
Man I can't wait for Touhou Axis
All them flips that gonna happen
Rumia will become a light producing youkai buster
Seiga will become a crime fighter who stops bank robberies by burning down the bank
It's gonna be rad
Forever liveblogging the AvengersAnd Yukari...is still Yukari.
Stella ~Part 3 (Atelier Shallie)I wonder what other translation that they will give to the characters?
"Eratoeir is a Gangsta."the fact they spell it "youmu" yet insist on spelling youkai "yokai" bugs me
be consistent!

Murdering time and space. Now on Twitter.Just caught up with Wa HH 38. Love Nitori's expressions, don't ever change, you smug capitalist you. And I really like Kasen's line in the end where she reassures the airheaded maiden that its fine to slack off now and then.
Oh, and Sanae, can't you fly?
Freckles spoke to Kasen in the one where the human villagers were betting on the fighters during the Hopeless Masquerade incident, and X-hair clip had a brief monologue. Otherwise, it's Dark-Hair's first speaking appearance.
Regarding translations, I don't really mind either way so long as Maribel is Maribel and not Maeryberry or whatever insanity the katakana represents. I like normal sounding English names.

There is something inherently bizarre about Reimu dancing. I guess because I just don't imagine her dancing much.
Some of her shrine maiden duties involve dancing.
Or at least rhythmically swaying while flailing with her gohei
It stops Satan, you see.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersSo she went from bunch of ugly Finns to a phone.
Continue the bloodline, Fujimaru!Maribel is extremely wrong; she's not supposed to have a normal name.
She has a cereal name and that's why we love her
Forever liveblogging the AvengersAlso, this month's FS is labeled as Part 2, so I guess not having Part 1 was just a mistake last chapter.
Some of her shrine maiden duties involve dancing.
Yeah, exactly. Alternatively, drive to Meme Country. Or Mexico.
I imagine Reimu's a damn fine dancer. Light on her feet, does all the right moves without thinking about it. Though maybe only when she's not thinking about it.
Current earworm: "Awe of the Unknown"I should correct myself. I would expect that from Reimu. I would not expect her to be dancing like a caffeinated pop star.
Unless your in Mexican Gensokyo, in which case Reimu would be performing a fiery tango or something.
Mexican Gensokyo: where all the conflicts are solved with dancing.
But this is Gensokyo. You're supposed to shoot her in the face.

Nah, you need to stop Satan by dancing otherwise Remilia will throw a huge party with all her finest boozes.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersAll this talk of romanization, and no mention of Frandle Scarlet. Are we still in denial about that? I'm okay with that.
Objective analysis on romanization:
Frandoll > Flandre > Frandle

And that's how I ended up in the wardrobe. It Just Bugs Me!NIS used Flandre, but as I said, I think they checked the touhouwiki first. "Rei'sen" and "Eiki Shiki, Yamaxanadu" in particular stand out as unintuitive ways of writing their names. They probably only changed Lumia because they thought it was wrong on the wiki.

The fun thing is Rumia is even written on Perfect Memento, the infamous "Medicin Melancory" book.
EDIT: checking it, looks like "Flandle" was also there. lol

I think that's actually what was intended, though?
