So does this mean we can finally give Daiyousei a canon pic on the Embodiment of Scarlet Devil Character page?
Eating a Vanilluxe will give you frostbite. It's not exactly a canonical image as Makoto drew that for a fan artbook that contains various other character designs.

So at the end of the game Reimu would go Super Saiyan and sing a J-Pop version of some Touhou song while they rise up to defeat the final boss?
Yes, except her Super Saiyan hair is purple.

Ok so maybe not Mega Ten games, then. I'm still hoping for a Touhou Labyrinth 3.
Hrm. I used to keep around a reference document on cross-references with the whole entire focus on mythology both SMT and TH keep.
Quickly throwing together from memory and previous research and quick wiki checks this shows it wouldn't be hard to have, like, an SMT game's worth of demon management with Touhou characters filling in for the normal humans rather than whatever the hell SMTXFE did. Would be very far away from Touhou Labyrinth's schema and such a limited scope would be rather dull when SMT sometimes struggles with getting new demons to represent new niches (though it certainly doesn't have to be literal with the matter). There's also the whole extremely low interest on thoughts over that subjects of both game series, the international comparative mythology or whatever.
EDIT: PC-98 Alice was an explicit character reference to SMT 1's Alice, which really adds some context to e.g. IWBTG inspiring LOLK's difficulty curve.

MegaTen-style demon management would be creepy using actual characters...

They could be images or demons inspired by the characters, but then you've kind of just created a darker Touhoumon.
Page 7 make it a Real Touhou Manga.
How can she sleep when her bed is burning?
I've always thought Okuu was immune to heat.
Check out my fanfiction!Tenshi does come off as something of an aggressive masochist.
Song of the SirensOh shit I almost forgot about this.
In which Kokoro takes Flandre out to a concert and Meiling tags along.
I like 15's stage themes a lot more than the boss themes.

Song of the SirensWow! Interesting! I'm afraid I can't share that sentiment at all... LOLKAT is one Touhou Game where the Boss Themes actually stand out in my mind a LOT as being (almost) all super good.
Having listened to all of the LOLKAT Soundtrack several times, I'll try to give a short opinion on each Theme, to see where I stand on this issue: (going purely from memory)
Stage 1 Theme: Stage-One-y... boring; Stage 1 Boss Theme: OH GOD I HATE IT SO MUCH, seriously.
Stage 2 Theme: was nice, I think?; Stage 2 Boss Theme: Very, very unique, Classical-Music-Piano-esque, love it.
Stage 3 Theme: nice; Stage 3 Boss Theme: pretty cool, nice mix of weird and playful.
Stage 4 Theme: erhhh, it was very quiet and atmospheric, I think?; Stage 4 Boss Theme: Epic. Stylish, dangerous. Like Sagume herself. Love it.
Stage 5 Theme: Super good! Playful, Space-y, bit epic; Stage 5 Boss Theme: FUN PERSONIFIED, LOVE IT! Crazy as hell and fun.
Stage 6 Theme: ...well, it's the Boss Theme, only slow and atmospheric. Nice when playing or watching the stage, but when I listen on my MP3 Player, I want the Boss Theme's faster, more dangerous style; Stage 6 Boss Theme: It was a shock to me how much I loved Junko's Theme, and how much I still do so! I'm pretty meh on many Final Boss Themes, but this one... wow, love it.
Extra Stage Theme: AMAZING. One of my favorite Stage Themes of the entire Franchise; Extra Stage Boss: LOVE IT LOVE IT. Hyper aggressive, Badass, relentless.
So, the verdict is indeed the same as for all other Touhou Games for me: I love the Boss Themes waaaay more. But LOLKAT has good Stage Themes that I like, I'd say even way more than most of the other games!

...I personally want a Touhou Labyrinth 3 taking cues from Shin Megami Tensei and Shin Megami Tensei: Persona games with nearly all characters up to now as playable party members. Only in a perfect world however.
Edit: You know absurdly hard Boss Battles, Demonic Spiders everywhere, and generally being Nintendo Hard.
