Why would Yukari need to intervene in ULiL? The problem got more or less solved by Kasen and Reimu. And as for LoLK, Eirin was on top of that one and I really doubt she'd appreciate Yukari butting in.
Also Yukari hates the Lunarians and probably wouldn't lift a finger to help them.
Heart of StoneI don't know if you just forgot about Shinmyoumaru's soup bowl or if that's just a testament to how damn well she wears it.
Junko's profile says she purified herself of any identifying information.
I mean seriously you guys
Seriously
I wonder if the recent stuff in the last couple games has been a giant case of Just as Planned for her?
YES! That was even one of my first comments after the demo came out: Ringo's sweet cap plus Doremy's nightcap ALREADY had topped the amount of silly hats in ALL of DDC (which, if you count DDMC Hammer's soup bowl as a "hat", is 1; the total amount of hats in all of DDC was 2! O_O) Thankfully, LOLKAT delivered and added a sweet jester's cap, Junko's very dignified, pretty hat, and the monstrosity that is My-Immortal-chan's.
Also: just watching Special Stage for the first time. At least two of the Boss's Spellcards are really awesome and memorable: the Triple-I-Wanna-Be-The-Guy-Moon-Attack, and the Ultra-Triangle-Barrage-of-Doom-Survival-one.
Could it be ominous in the terms of "Gensokyo will spring back from what the Lunarians are currently doing (even if several of its current inhabitants won't)"? Kinda like what scientists say in regards to the earth and humans.
After all, the Three Fairies manga shows that all it takes for something to regain life is for fairies to live in them, and since Gensokyo is absolutely littered with fairies living in random places (with Yukari also ensuring that the more important landmarks are being inhabited by fairies) and LoLK has shown that even Lunarians have difficulty putting the immortal fairies down permanently, the purified parts of Gensokyo probably won't stay purified for long.
So in conclusion... Cirno > Moonsisters > Protagonists, proving that she really is the strongest.
That's like saying rock is the strongest because it crushes scissors which cuts paper.

Heart of StoneLife Fairies finds a way.
Finally! Someone with sense!
Hang on, speaking of Fairies! What happened with Clown Girl and her Insane Fairy Posse after the events of the game? Where did they go? Back to Hell, I presume? That would be a shame... because I want her to move into Gensokyo She'd fit in super well.
Plus! I just realized to my horror that most of the new chars in this game won't be around/available in Gensokyo for any future appearances, be it canon or fanon Only the two Mossad Rabbits, I think, express an interest in remaining in Gensokyo?
Man, I think Sumi was sad in terms of not having a new char around as a new Gensokyo denizen This game has 5 more
... Mossad?

Wherever I look, I see people reeling from the revelation of Clownpiece, and then embracing her with extreme enthusiasm. As a fairy she embodies the natural principle of being so ridiculous it loops back around to awesome.
In gameplay, of course, she's a bag of dicks, but my one Touhou-playing buddy and I have conferred and decided we still hate Doremy more. Clownpiece is creative and entertaining about smashing your face in.
Meanwhile, Sagume claims the long-coveted title of The Only Lunarian People Actually Like.
Sorry, was it offensive? Wasn't meant that way! Just as in "Elite Strike Force" kind of way. Could also have called them Green Beret Bunnies.
Hmmmmm. Not so sure about that? Reisen and Eirin are Lunarians, too... but if you mean "Lunarians who are still on the Moon", then probably yes.
People don't like FuSoYa?
Forever liveblogging the AvengersObservation made while watching the Extra stage: Hecatia and Junko make a good team, since the latter's spellcard names might as well be Fallout Boy song titles.
"Pure Danmaku for the Purpose of Hunting Down a Trapped Mouse" by Miss Hellraiser.
Actually I just didn't know what that means. Which I'm feeling a little silly about now. ^^;
Just watchin' all Blind Runs of the game so far, as usual for me. Gotta say, it's way more depressing than usual, since all the expert players get really angry at so many Spell Cards and the inconsistent difficulty and stuff They all begin to talk to ZUN like a mad, disappointed father to a misbehavin' kid and gets quite uncomfortable.
The first reactions to seeing Clown Girl are worth it, however Just watched a German girl see her for the first time: "WAS THAT PIPPI LONGSTOCKING!?!?"
I mean seriously you guys

I too saw how angry Jaimers was at it.
Me though, I think it's great. I like the new characters, especially Sagume. Everybody likes her it seems. I can't comment on the music or difficulty too much yet, but even the playable roster made this a great game from the start.
Definitely the best since UFO, when ZUN was last at the top of his game.
Beginning HERE, NEW TROLLOSUKE MANGA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
In which we find out Waggysaggy is a pervert and Hatate's hair is very flammable.
I've asked this over at Mot K and nobody answered, so I decided to try again here. Gonna cover my question in spoilers just to be safe.
Do any of the endings tell what became of Junko after the events of the game? I'm assuming Seiran, Ringo and Sagome went back to the Moon, Doremy stayed in the Dream World and Clownpiece and Hecatia returned to Hell, but I doubt Junko would be welcome in any of those places. Is she in Gensokyo? She already proved that she has no problem being around impurity and I can't see her being anywhere else.
To distract from the Legacy of Lunatic Kingdom discussion a bit (or maybe not):
Jaimers recently retweeted this tweet. It's obviously a hitbox comparison, but I don't know what of. The bottom row might be comparing the infamous Metal Fatigue bullets to other bullets of the same size?
That does actually tie into my big issue, with so few chars goin' to Gensokyo and whatnot.
Actually, the two Rabbits (or only one? Memory is hazy) get persuaded to come stay in Gensokyo instead, which makes me super happy . Maybe it's not in all routes? I think it was on Reisen's, which for me, is the only canonical route , due to character development reasons. Whether that gets picked up by later canon sources, is, of course, the big question (PLEASE give us, like, Ringo in FS, that would rule soooo much!)
As to any of the other characters, I can't say if it gets answered in any of the endings... but sadly, my gut feeling is "none of them stay in Gensokyo" . But the Final Boss, as you mentioned, would at least have good motivation for it. Or.... hmm, she actually might just stay on the Moon, where she always was? To forever continue her campaign of revenge? Sad to think about, but, hey, would be in character.

Thanks to a picture of Clownpiece, I realized that after a game with really no silly hats, this game really made up for it.
Another thing to note that Junko has no title of sort. One post in danbooru sort of allures this how Junko really is manifestation of pure grudge. She has becomes less of a character and more of an avatar of sort. It almost borders to Generic Doomsday Villain if you really think about it, but she probably isn't that close of being one.

Continue the bloodline, Fujimaru!
