Yeah, it'd have to be something like that. I was, however, trying to imagine a Touhou/Legend of Zelda crossover the other day, and thought that a nurikabe character would be perfect as a Wallmaster/Floormaster stand-in.

Also, while playing some of the later games last night, it occurred to me that Reimu is a real jerk. I mean, at least Marisa has the whole "loveable scamp" thing going on. While Reimu is really rude and impatient will all the youkai she runs across.

Reimu is a bit of a grognard when it comes to Incident resolving - she moans about boredom when it's peaceful, yet she still grumbles a lot when she actually has to resolve any Incidents that crop up. She's pretty decent if you catch at the right time. Also, donations go a long way towards making sure she doesn't just brush you off.

ALSO Reimu kind of reminds me of Nanoha a bit, all "befriending" youkai and such. And really, just about everybody in Gensokyo will danmaku it up at the drop of a hat. When they're not all having tea with each other, anyway. I guess they don't have much else to do besides tea parties and Bullet Hell...
