The new voice actor for Marty nails it. His performance is amazing.
Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectI don't care what else they release it on as long as I can buy it on Steam.
Accidental mistakes are forgivable, intentional ones are not.Any thoughts on the art style/animation?
It's so Saturday Morning.... and I like it. :)
Jonah FalconThe guy voicing Marty Mc Fly is crazy good.
Do you want to have sex? I think we should have sex. CASUAL SEX.Apparently we're going to meet a young Doc and 'Kid Tannen,' who appears to be a mobster. You can see concept art for young Doc on the website and art for Kid Tannen in the instructions for BTTF: Blitz Through Time on Facebook.

Jonah FalconAnd here is that trailer!

A good writer puts in a lot of details in there story. But a great one gets a story from a single detail.Doc's old lab looks awesome. I can't say I'm as enamoured with the graphical style (Marty's jaw is almost a rectangle), but everything else looks really cool.
So the official sit has put up synopsises for all the episodes, so we now know the basic arc of the game. MAJOR SPOILERS there, so beware.
Sounds like Marty and Doc screw things up BIG TIME, maybe more so than in Part II. Seems that they somehow change Doc's history so he becomes some sort of tyrant or something. I mean, First Citizen Brown? Yeah...
What worries me is that on the characters page, Doc's bio says the games will show a side of him that's never been hinted at. Poor coice of words, or an omen?
Needs a new signature.Btt F is an old favorite of mine, so this is worth looking into.
Episode 4 sounds like it's going to be like Btt F 2 in which you have zigzagging Marties as you revisit previous episodes.
Jonah FalconSo Episode 1 comes out tomorrow. It feels like a dream. Before the game's announcement, did you ever think you'd see a new Back To The Future game? Especially one with one of the co-creators and writers of the films consulting and Christopher Lloyd as Doc?
The only disappointment I have is not being able to play out Doc's encounter with the terrorists before the first film. Stuffing a bomb shell full of used pinball machine parts? THIS SCREAMS ADVENTURE GAME!
Needs a new signature. It actually sounds like a mix between Part I & Part II only with the Doc as the focal character instead of George McFly or Biff Tannen. Very telling that the only other characters seen from the movies are George and Biff.

Wizard Needs Food BadlyWell, Episode 1 is out, and I've completed it. Great game. The intro is effective in grabbing your attention, too. You'll probably say Holy hell!
So much fan service here, so many references to the movies, it's all so perfect. It feels so much like it's a new Back to the Future movie. Actually, at the end, I realized it felt more like a miniseries, considering the cliffhanger. Hell, it even emulates tv by having the screen split, showing a trailer for next episode on the top while the credits scroll at the bottom.
The story is strong, and one of the best parts of the game. The puzzles are great, but the one real fault with the game is the controls. Instead of pointing and clicking to walk, it's click and drag. Because of this, you're gonna want to either use the keyboard to move.
All in all, it's a must-have for any fan. However, I have to warn you about a bug in the launcher. After downloading, playing and quitting, for the first time, everything's fine. But the next time you open the launcher, you can't play the game, because it has to update or something. STOP IT. It's actually downloading the entire game again, which will screw your game over. You have to run it as administrator, which you can do by right clicking the shortcut and selecting that option. You'll want to go to properties, hit advance, and check the box that says 'run as administrator.'
Needs a new signature.Just blew through it today. Felt a lot how I did with Monkey Island - I liked everything except the control scheme. I was really hoping they'd address that since so many people complained about it, but both the mouse controls and the WASD controls are just as clunky. Thank goodness the rest of the game is so good. And I do believe that Judge Brown is a close relative of a certain Winslow.
The thread title should probably be changed, considering episode 1 is out already.
I'm shocked this thread isn't more active.
Needs a new signature.Just finished the second episode. Despite going through 1931 again, it's interesting seeing them deal with time travel on both a large scale (65 years) and a small scale (2 months).
I also think we're starting to learn a lesson about time travel in this universe - while there is a chance that you could actually improve your life by having your parents get together under better circumstances, it's far easier to create horrible dystopias when you muck around with time instead.
I really hope Clara and the Kids show up at some point, though the storyline of this particular series seems to give her a pretty good excuse not to.
The game was built to work with gamepads, and indeed works best with one. I haven't played on PS 3, but I'm sure it's fine on there, though you get the episodes earlier if you buy on PC from Tell Tale, and you get a free dvd at the end of the season containing all 5 episodes and bonus features.
Needs a new signature.I got the free first episode. Seems pretty nice so far.
DumboA character by the name of Trixie trotter who appears in the second episode, has Hartman Hips.
I got the first episode for free, I still have to install it though.
Oh. Hm. I guess not. Well, that's what I get for taking such a small sample size.
