And one teacher-and-students manga I can definitely recommend is Ansatsu Kyoushitsu. It's to kill for. Should I type more?

One, that Japanese title means nothing to me.
Two, the harem stuff does fall off a bit with Luce/Trap-kun and the summer vacation arc.
At least it's "less harem" than Negima and World God Only Knows.

Ansatsu Kyoushitsu, or Assasination Classroom. The teacher is secretly a tentacle-thing that destroyed more than half of the moon just recently, and the students ("bottom class" of the school, basically) have one year to kill him before he destroys the Earth in a similar way.
The overarching message is very tight on teamwork, which I like. The balance of comedy and drama is well-kept, and there's always a fair amount of action. The art is nice, which doesn't hurt (I've enjoyed series with simpler art, for the story). The characters are unique without any blatant cliches or exaggerations. And, since the teacher is a tentacle-thing, when he does something outrageous it's less unbelievable than, say, an otaku shutting down an overloading particle accelerator.

To be fair, said Otaku was totally The Ace when he was a teenager, before he went back to being Brilliant, but Lazy.
Across all this scene I had a nagging suspicion that particle accelerators don't work that way. Or, at least, that overloading potentially-explosive electrical facilities don't work that way.

Yukihime: Awful mother, laboral abuser, neglectful leader figure, weakened fighter, terrible taste in battle clothes, doesn't learn a damn thing from prior experiences, never remembers her gone friends and disregards those she has now, still can't get over a man. Truly a pathetic character, she's become.
I kinda want to like Dana, despite how annoying, tries-too-hard, exaggeratedly designed and stinking of Convenient Retcon she is.

Naruto started back up again. Sasuke and Sakura's kid, Sarada, spent the chapter feeling left out due to having never met her dad, then commented on how neither of her parents need glasses. Then Sakura threw a hissy fit when Sarada questioned her on the nature of her relationship with Sasuke. Then Sarada opened a frame containing photos of the family and found that Sasuke's picture was actually a group photo of Team Hebi. The last page has her looking at Karin in the group photo. So yeah, Kishimoto seems like he's about to address the thing we've suspected since chapter 700 of Naruto.
