I mean within the Akamatsuverse itself, guys. Which is where, you know, our alteregos were supposed to be last time I checked.
But that's less interesting than the topic of Japanese pornstars.
himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimariUseless Trivia Reminder to everyone of the actress who played Shizuna in the live action aberration being a veteran of porn.
I don't know. Unlike Ayaka, no one ever mentions that Asuna is of a different ethnicity, and she's supposed to look like Nekane to boot...while also being born to a family that in all likelihood isn't Japanese whose ancestor probably wasn't either.
Granted, I pay this sort of thing no more heed then I do building a goddamned orbital elevator in Japan of all places. Hooray for seismic activity!

Ostia is Fantasy Jerusalem, and Asuna should, logically, look like that.
himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimariNotice the girls can apparently pass for Mundus Magicus natives even without magical disguises, and Mundus Magicus is quite clearly based on Western traditions.
Alternatively, the phenotypes of Mundus Magicus' native population is equivalent to a melting pot of Earth's ethnicities, and thus Japanese-looking people are common enough in Mundus Magicus that an actual Japanese person from Earth will blend in quite easily.
Given what we know, that is actually quite unlikely.
himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimari[glances at everyone else before answering Marq] Ok people, I am not the only one who went looking for pictures when this topic came up last time.
[beat]
Seriously? You're killing me here guys.
But to answer your question Marq, IIRC, Nao Oikawa. If you go looking for pictures, you might be disappointed about the size of her... Um... qualifications.

Madman with a box? I'm a madman with a semi, a pretzel bender and a Heart of Gold!... You're right, it is disappointing, Seriously, Big Bra to Fill doesn't come close to describing it. And why can't I find any pics of her role as live-action Shizuna?
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.Dailymotion has several videos of the actual episodes, but all those I've seen are raws. And most of the girls are, no offense, quite ugly (although Asuna was a cutie). The one they got to play Ku Fei was a particularly bad case.

I just watched episode 1 of Nichijou. One of the characters, Nano, is an android with a big, obstructive key extending from her back. Aside from the key, she could pass as human, down to a lack of features typically associated with androids (no super strength, no extra durability, etc.) and apparently able to feel pain, even from minor injuries (at one point she stubs her toe). I'd assumed that the key was for similar purposes to Chachamaru's key, just not removable. Nope. Turning it fires her rocket-toe.
Her expression when she finds out about this is priceless.
Her hands also come off at VERY inconvenient moments. And her creator uses random parts of her as a candy stash.

Nichijou is hilarious. Probably the most random anime I've ever watched (and Nano and Hakase are cute).
The manga more so.
Right. It is getting far too cheerful in here.
Time to fix that.
Mahou Shoujo Of The End / Negima crossover. Something corrupts the pactio system? One of the nastier Magical Girls invade from their universe? How would it work?
Madman with a box? I'm a madman with a semi, a pretzel bender and a Heart of Gold!UQ Holder.
Nous restons ici.So apparently in the extras of volume nine, Sayo is stated to have been killed by a loony serial killer way back when. News to me.
Its called the sports festival arc. Actually, for that kind of plot element, you don't necessarily need to delve into crossover material for it to work, since wanking Negi's ME status as screwing with the pactio system is semi-feasible.

I think the notes say they considered that, but apparently scrapped the idea across the production process, much like Kaede the Clumsy Incompetent Ninja and Shizuna the Single Mother.

Sounds about right. The line goes on to say that Sayo didn't disappear/go to heaven when the News Club solved the murder because of the bonds of friendship she made with them, so I'm guessing its a plotline that got scrapped.
Eventually, they reused it with Santa/Sayako. It was a good arc, but given how solving it needed a time reset, perhaps it's better it didn't happen to Sayo… unless Sayako WAS Sayo…

And it wouldn't deal with a zombie apocalypse on a global scale. That alone would've made anything Negima came up with ten times better then what Holder went with. Oh, and the murders weren't happening in broad daylight in a world where magic is known, and the authorities can't do jack and shit.
A zombie apocalypse wouldn't really work on the Negima universe unless they were Marvel Zombies kind of zombies, which keep their powers and intelligence.
Zombie Negi would be fucking terrifying.
himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimariHolders zombies are mostly thralls, but they do retain their skills and abilities to some degree...oh wait, that was the super special IMMORTAL ZOMBIE VIRUS made specifically for them for giggles.
Zombies and necromancy could work in Negima given its mishmash of a setting, but not like how Holder did it. Especially not how Holder did it.
... Uh, no. Not even close. Japanese porn stars still look Japanese.
