In the sixth hour of the sixth day of the sixth month, the Ahnenerbe Cafe in the plains of Mundus Magicus was under siege.
"It would seem," Kikukawa Yukino mused, more to herself than to any of the others with her, "we have spent years here, doesn't it? This place... I think it does strange things to our heads, and to our peception of time..."
Shidou Hikaru nodded, keeping her position near the window, a bow and arrow made of magical fire in her hands, ready to shoot at the slowly approaching shambling hordes coming through the distance, under the dawning sun. "I wonder if anyone remembers us anymore? I have to admit... by now, I'm sort of doubting it."
"Maybe the readers would appreciate a quick recap of your situation, given in a good way," Motsu opined, as Shichimi just kept on eating happily, oblivious to everything else. "Baaaaack then when the gods still cared about us, three young students from Japan, named Hikaru, Nanami and Yukino, were summoned to Mundus Magicus to become the legendary Magic Knights and rescue Princess Emeraude, but they lost their way and became waitresses for a decaying cafe in the middle of nowhere..."
"Tsk," Neco Arc disapproved, using a simple twist of a wrist to slam a frying pan down on him, keeping him trapped underneath.
"Yes, would you stop telling that story already?!" Kiryuu Nanami yelled, holding her ground with the Derflinger sword in her grasp. "We already know that better than anyone, and you only depress us more and more, the more you keep telling it! Stupid frog!"
"This isn't what I signed in for when I accepted being in this universe," Derf mused aloud.
"Here they are," Yukino said, her eyes growing narrow behind her glasses, as the undead masses gathered around the small cafe. "Wow. I can't believe it. Unequally. All He Ever Wanted. Aikan Muyo! Dear God, I think My Immortal's over there! Betrayer(S)! Nanoha Force! Alan Moore's Big Numbers! That aborted Superman/Dirty Pair crossover by Adam Warren!"
"Lovely Angels, I think that's their actual name," Hikaru corrected her.
Yukino's teeth chattered. "Ranma Girl Days! The Mayoi Neko Overrun manga! Spice and Wolf Season 3! Magica Madoka Veneficus Puella! Puella Magi Homura Magica! The Samurai Jack franchise! Shaymalan's career! You Got Haruhi Rolled! The Ilya, Taiga and Sacchin paths! The third Batman/Spawn crossover! FATE War of the Great Grail! Thirty Xanatos Pile Up! Of Princesses and Swords!"
"I'M WORKING ON THEM!" a patron protested from the bottom of the bar.
The girls shared long, jaded glares.
"Suuuuure thing," Nanami snorted, looking at the assembled group of the dead and the unholy figure looming over. A dark figure of a hopeless future which killed all good, noble things to replace them with nothing but bleak, disgusting shadows that would take over the minds and hearts of the Earth's masses...

Sayoko smirked.
Nanami steeled herself. "For Oniisama," she seethed.
"For Haruka-chan," Yukino nodded.
"For hope," Hikaru agreed, taking aim.
Neco Arc took a deep, long, dramatic puff from a cigarette.. then turned back towards the cameras. "And now it starts! The Halloween special!" she meowed, giving the audience a thumbs up.

You sure? I mean, in a direct fight against himself, yeah, but the Lifemaker doesn't seem to be the kind of guy that nitpicks who is working under him or who might benefit his cause. Hell, if the Lifemaker was still around when Fate brought Shiori in, he was probably kind enough to let her hang around as Fate's subordinate provided he didn't drop her off elsewhere after her village was burnt down.
Ignoring everything that happened after the asspull at the end of the Fate and Negi fight, I believe he at least would see the benefit of having a team like 3-A around if such people and powers were malleable and at his disposal.

Hey... is Unequally Nanami related to Satsuki and Matoi? A third sister perhaps?
I only learned about KLK's existence AFTER Unequally went on hiatus, so nothing like that was ever planned during the story's proper course, at least.
Besides, Nanami and Touga are Kiryuus, and Satsuki is a Kiryuin.
And a third sister already exists, anyway! Poor Nuichin...

Again, Rebellion wasn't out yet when I was writing URAE. I once had Charlotte in a cameo held for research at the base of the Witches Five, however. Since even now URAE Mami isn't aware of magic, no, they never even met, although it was heavily implied pre-transformation Charlotte was once dear friends with Mimete.

Nah, this one's a bit different in being based on something Marvel-related, while the last one was more a knockoff of Super Hero Taisen.
I'd be interested in reading that. Though I must admit that I agree that dismissing 3A as canon fodder is a bit insulting to them.
Well, yes, it's the Lifemaker.
OTOH, while surfing on a body, Lifemaker's never been shy about it being him who is really there. His organization seems to be more keen on hiding their hand than he personally is.
Also, for most of the series, until mastering ME, Negi's not really that much stronger than the elite of his Ala Alba, when he's not downright weaker (and judging from how easily LM pwned Eva and Ala Rubra at once, it seems he'd have plowed Negi down just as easily as he could have with any AA'er anyway).

Who also conceded in humanities worth to one of his own creations and cared enough about the MM residents (Albeit still referring them as sheep in a rant to Nagi) to shove everyone equally into a Lotus-Eater Machine, so there's that.
And the Lifemaker has no real characterization one way or the other to say that he'd completely dismiss them just because they're human.
I figure the Lifemaker had very little to do with CE as an organization during its heyday and sat in his palace playing with his telescope or something. He certainly didn't operate as their face given how shocked that everyone was when Primum turned out not to be the mastermind. Even Al seemed surprised he was there, and he was the one who seemed to know CE's plan and what the hell he was when he appeared.

Well, he didn't even consider them worth enough of his attention to bother stomping them all down for a moment before going take Ala Rubra down (which costed him dearly after they woke Asuna up), but that might be just because he's that much of a neglectful moron in general.
At the very least, he might take an interest on recruiting Asunas.
He didn't bother to stomp out AR either until all of his minions were iced, so the neglectful moron bit holds.
Granted, just who the neglectful moron there was is sort of in question. He had no qualms with Fate offing Secundum either come to think of it, but he didn't seem to care for the guy in the first place.
EDIT: Now that I think about it, no one acted like he existed after Negi's little quip about his arrival. Call me dense, but he probably isn't the guy you should lose track of during your epic rescue mission.

Well, he seemed to hold a high interest on Evangeline as his daughter/pet project of sorts, so I suppose it's not unlikely he'd be willing to let her ice all of his 'lesser' minions just to see how she was holding up by then. And it wasn't like he really needed them after waking up, since he could single handledy take on anyone who could defeat the whole of his organization.
As for your other point, yeah, around that point, Akamatsu seems to lose all capacity to write proper basic strategic insight, which explains things like Karin forgetting Fate is powered by being underground until they take him underground, or all of Powerful Hand slipping away off panel without anyone in UQ Holder seeming to care the slightest bit.

Much like with Negima (The Magic World Arc, though really it wasn't too bad till Post-Negi vs. Rakan, damn power escalation) beyond certain interesting tidbits (the Bijuu's backstories for one, what happen the day Kyuubi attacked, etc.) there is a point (Post-Naruto vs. Pein, since its the point of no return where everything starts coming to a head with the Kage Summit followed by the War) that I just don't really want anything to do with.
