I have aspergers, which means I tend to obsess about things that may interfere with my everyday life. I also believe I may have neurotic tendencies because I am constantly on edge wherever I go and find it hard to cope with anything that goes against my daily routine. However, for all the pills and psychological counseling, I feel that to remove these tendencies of mine, no matter how self-destructive, would mean removing a parts of me that make me for who I am (kind of like getting a symbolic lobotomy). Anyone got the same thoughts?
