Skip down to "Newly Acquired Programming" and you'll see a short summary of Ridonculous Race, which reveals that eighteen pairs (re: thirty-six total players) will be duking it out. The prizeis also a million again, but I don't know if that's a million each or a million to split between the winning pair.

Cake Entertainment's leaked (unintentionally?) three returnees and six newbies for Ridonculous Race.

We've got, in order: Owen, Noah, Geoff, a pink-shirted chill guy, some business dude that seems vaguely evil, a middle aged man, a blonde kid who looks ten, and a goth couple.

It's safe to say this is legit. Best part means that an Owen/Noah tag team is almost certainly canon. Thoughts?

The goth duos gonna be popular. Calling it now. All characters that are goth are loved by a lot of fans.

Cake Entertainment removed the picture and replaced it with RR's snazzy logo. Luckily, a bunch of people saw this coming and saved the picture.

Six newbies, three returnees

Hmm... None of the newbies really stand out to me design wise besides the goth couple, unfortunately. Hopefully their personalities are at least interesting. I do like the fact that Noah is back for another season though, and Geoff being in means Bridgette is likely in as well, which is a good thing.

Hopefully we get more details on this season soon.

...huh. Was Leonard more popular than I thought? He's kind of an odd choice...

Alright, this season looks interesting. The girl next to Leonard looks pretty awesome, hopefully I'll end up liking Leonard himself more this season.

Everyone in the bottom row looks pretty cool, although other than Team Owen/Noah, Team Geoff, and the goths, nobody else is jumping out at me. My main concern is that a lot of these duos are gonna end up having the same personality, but hopefully that doesn't happen.

I thought Leonard was one of the least popular of the Pakithew Island members.

I thought so as well. Maybe they have some big idea for him this season?

Or maybe they just want early elimination fodder :v

Yeah, we should. I get the feeling we're gonna have to do it fast, though. I can't imagine it'll take long for Fresh to take the two parts down, and I don't think there's any other way to get all thirty-two names.

I just figured out the second goth's name. It's Ennui, meaning "A feeling of listlessness and dissatisfacion."

Fits both of them pretty well, I think.

I'm being a good girl and waiting until RR actually airs properly, so I may be avoiding the thread for a while. Have fun.

I did notice that Iceland is supposed to be one of the locations, which I give a to because Iceland is cool (figuratively and literally).

Hey guys. I've been a fan of the show since it ran on 2009 or something. Yet I need to catch up on Pahkitew Island.

My favourite characters include: Cody (he's awkwardly funny), Noah (he's kinda snarky in a way), Izzy (she's hot!), Owen (he's like the Toilet Humor-based character), Dawn (also hot), DJ (he's a coward), Mike (he's back story is fantastic!) and Harold (the Napoleon Dynamite of the gang).

I wish for their next season, they could do a Steampunk island or something like that. Maybe have returning characters from Island/Action/World Tour, RotI and Pahkitew Island competing with one another.

But, they need to include people who haven't been seen more than one season and/or are Ensemble Darkhorses like Brick or something.

Heck, I would be proud if Scott and Rodney were in the next season together. Remember Rodney has 5 brothers? Imagine Scott being one of them.

That's kind of a fun theory, I think. I know Scott didn't mention any brothers, but he does have a sister, IIRC. Entirely possible, though.

I know there's fanon stuff where Noah and Dave are brothers or cousins as well.

I think Noah's mentioned how he's the youngest out of his siblings (though I can't remember if him having a lot of siblings is canon or I'm just recalling from a really good fanfic), so Dave can't be his brother seeing as he's almost guaranteed to be younger than Noah. Cousins may be plausible.

So trailers for Ridonculous Race have been airing on CN, and what really intrigues me is when Don says to his supervisors (or producers, whatever) via earpiece "Are you sure legal cleared this? ...Really?" Like, he's actually showing concern with the dangers present, and that's already completely different than how Chris would react.

Noah having a lot of older siblings is All There in the Manual, although sometimes those old bios are blatantly contradicted.

SOME OF THE BIO DISCREPERANCIES IRRITATE ME SO MUCH. They shouldn't, but they do. Particularly Katie's and Sadie's saying that they live in a small town, only for Katie to say hi to everyone back home with a "What's up, Toronto?" in the show. I don't think Toronto's suburbs are anywhere near small.

Speaking of hometowns, does anyone have headcanons for where the characters live, province-wise? The few I have are:

• Saskatchewan: Ezekiel, possibly Scott (though I also like to think Alberta could be one of them)
• British Columbia: Bridgette
• New Brunswick: Geoff (IDK why New Brunswick specifically, but whatever. I always assumed he lived east of Ontario or at least east of Muskoka because he made a shoutout to "all his bros back east)
• Ontario: Katie, Sadie, Heather, Owen (either Manitoba or Ontario for him, I tend to flip between the two)
• Newfoundland: Izzy

The choice of a different host intrigues me, but I guess it's plausible that they wanted a different one for a spinoff. Maybe he cares more, maybe he just doesn't want to get into as much legal trouble as Chris, who knows.

The first six episodes are up on Cartoon Network's mobile app, I believe. I haven't been able to watch it, but from I know, I don't think anyone gets eliminated in Morocco. There's some clips on their actual website for each of those episodes, though.

Just for fun, to kinda get hyped for Monday, what dya guys think the elimination order will be?

I have previously assumed that Noah was from BC, Eva was from Manitoba, Harold was from Alberta (though I can't remember if that was confirmed), and Cody was from Ontario. No real reasons why except I wanted Noah to live in an adjacent region to me.

I don't know why but I may watch this series again just for Owen.
