"Nice to meet you, Enri. Let me tell you a little more on our way up."

"Well, the last thing i recall before i died was that was burned to a crisp in some sort of temple in the woods. The rest of my memory on my life is very limited."

"Wait, i haven't introduced myself yet. My name is Kayne. Let's get to your questions now, shall we? First, my "dad" couldn't use a simple resurrection spell. If my calculations are correct, and they rarely aren't, i have been dead now for 1400 years and just recently revived. I call him dad because he brought me back in this body. It became undead after the binding spell transformation."

"Okay, i know that look, and i will incline you as far as my memory serves me. Ya know, the "Cult of Khaaszh" was very big news back then when i died. In contrast to other cults who were very interested in gaining more members, most of 'em needed to sway the general public with speeches. The priests of Khaaszh however had the backup of many witches and warlocks. So powerful, in fact, that our head figure Khaasz H personally was on par with a few demigods back in the day."

"Well, ol' Khaaszh was a fine man don't get me wrong. His goal was just to create an utopian afterlife for everyone to enjoy. The general idea of death concerned him greatly. He loved the idea of an afterlife where people had a chance at redemption and to meet up with long dead relatives and loved ones. So he created the soulstream, a massive circuit of souls. They would be dumped there and watch on as the world as we know it evolves until the end of all days in another plane of existence."

"But this much power lured the greedy like flies to him. They eventually turned the soulstream into something of a "reserves bank", where they would later fish out souls with their special necromancy lanterns and put them into artificial or dead bodies. Like mine for example. I am a tree now. But the important thing is, the soulstream is now something of a forehell for everyone in his cult."

"Well, being the nice guy he is, Khaaszh couldn't handle the evil they did with his creation well and killed himself. But that hardly stopped them. In fact, they hid his body, said he was a real god now and made him up to be a giant snake dragon thing that breathes death. It's complicated."

"Well, this brings us to today. Apparently, on of the lanterns survived being so fricking old. Dad used it to revive me and you know the rest. Before you ask, not much knowledge needs to be aqcuired to use these lanterns. In practice, they are the most user friendly necromancy tool, right after preservation brushes."

"Well, maybe the people from Imahampster know where to get one of these. Stupid shades. won't even let me talk without trying to kill me. It's infuriating."

"Anyway, you said something about a witch. Say, could it be that the witch takes the form of an angel to coaxe naive human beings into servitude? Does she have mindwashed followers who follow her every whim?"

Oh my pootis i am so proud that i finished this. Damn.

I explain to the guards that a spy wouldn't simply ask a guard for infomation. They would already know it and would probably try sneak around into the tower.

Wait! ... Ok, you can go now.

Turn 52

First time posts for this session require you to state a race and class of a Dnd/Fantasy RPG variety. This is an RTD with some continuity and I want to make sure you don't show up with space-themed stuff when that doesn't fit with the general theme. I also recommend reading through my previous posts to get a sense of how I run things and some of the things you don't want to do. You'll also get a sense of the stuff that's going on by doing so.

Everyone: Just adding this to the intro section. Considering how long this RTD has gone on for, it’s getting to the point where it’s difficult to keep track of what your character has already seen/known, even if you look back at previous posts. If anyone needs clarifications on their character’s surroundings/what they already know, or if anyone needs lore clarifications, feel free to ask with spoiler text or via PM.

BRaHiAn1: (3) You try healing yourself while trying to stay afloat. You manage to seal the wound and your leg heals to about halfway down. However, you need to regain your strength after performing that spell, so you can’t quite swim to the shore at the moment. Somewhere to your right, you see something swimming in the waters below, but you can’t see it quite clearly. The galleys seem to be closing in, but it’s still going to be some time before they arrive.
Jondanger 23: (1) You turn your back to the wounded cougar and begin to walk away. You try placing your crossbow on your back, but instead, you accidentally throw it backwards due to your dwarven strength. You quickly turn around and run to retrieve it just as it tumbles near the edge of the cliff side. You grab it just in time and begin dragging it away from the edge. However, just behind you, you see the wounded cougar prepare to swipe you with its claw. The strike launches you and your crossbow off the edge and down into the ravine. After about a second, your body slams into a ridge in the mountain and you continue tumbling down along the cliff face. After about a minute, you eventually reach the bottom, though you feel pain all over despite your armor. Your crossbow looks like it has also taken a few dents. Once you try to stand up, the ridge you’re in seems to go off towards your left and right. In either direction, you see the rocky ground eventually give way to a tropical forest.
Rhyme and Treason: (4) Your oversized cello is properly affixed to your back. You then begin descending down into the city in the gorge. Most fliers seem to be humanoid in shape, but you can’t tell what they are since they’re covered in armor similar to your own. In addition to a helmet and face mask, they seem to be wielding crossbows and two swords strapped to the sides. A few others seem to be large, fleshy bat-like creatures without any ears or the like. On a closer look, most of the creatures wandering on the ground seem to be dragonborn hauling around various goods. Once in a while, you see a bald humanoid whose mouth has been replaced with tentacle-like appendages. At the same time, you see a few humans and elves walking amongst the population. You see a few large, legless beetle-like creatures floating about in the middle of the streets. As you near the ground, a few of the different peoples look at you but then quickly go back to their business. Most of the buildings have something written above their entryways, but you don’t recognize the language. As you begin to wander around, two of the armored fliers float down near you. One of them says, "Halt there. You appear to be an unregistered guardian. We need to ask you a few questions. Where exactly did you come from? Where did you get that instrument? Guardian equipment is standard, and the fact you don’t have most of it is suspect."

The ohter one says, "You’re a bit of an anomaly, so you might be of interest to high command. We shall take you there if you’d like. Otherwise, we’ll have to escort you throughout the city to make sure you don’t cause any ruckus."

Trip: (6) You keep throwing fireballs at the sheep. Its fur burns and the flames char its skin until the vessels and muscles become visible. You also laugh like a goddamn loon. Shortly after, what remains of the sheep crumble onto the ground.    You shouldn’t have done that Trip… Kihihihihihihi…    The sheep’s skull, with the horn bound to its forehead, rises up from the ashes. The skull begins to morph into that of a goat, and a flesh-like substance starts to surge from the bone. The ashes below rise up and begin swirling around underneath until the form a humanoid shape. Blood drips from the mouth of the skull and from the now empty sockets. The blood solidifies and transforms, giving the body underneath form. Soon after, the creature becomes engulfed in flames, and it lets out a great screech as it stretches out its arms to prepare to strike.    Now Trip, YOU SHALL UNDERSTAND WHAT SORT OF SUFFERING YOU HAVE CAUSED AS I INCINERATE YOU TO YOUR VERY BONES JUST LIKE YOU DID TO THE SHEEP! KYAHAHAHAHA!!! AHAHAHAHAHA!!!    Ashen Goat Demon has appeared.
Kayne: (2) You continue to go into great detail about your non-existent backstory, and you speak incredibly quickly while doing so, with some of the words blending into each other. Enri says, "I’m sorry, I didn’t quite get any of that. You’re going to have to speak slower than that."
Wordless Summons: (4) You try to lecture the guards on how an actual spy would operate. The third guard says, "Eh, ya got a point. Besides, we would’ve caught you if ya tried sneaking around. Not like someone would send an elf tryin’ to assassinate people or get information anyway. So, yer gonna stand there lolligaggin’ or do ya have somewhere to go?"
Tabbune: (3) You try summoning some thorny vines to root the skeletons in place. Unfortunately, your spell can only reach the skeleton off to the left and the one on the ground next to you. The one to your left tries shooting you, but the thorns are jamming its weapon. You hear the legs of the one on the ground begin to crack. Meanwhile, your doge tackles the nearest skeleton and rips the crossbow out of its hands. The other one fires into your companion’s side. Meanwhile, the one guarding the street turns towards you and fires straight at you. As you’re not quick enough to dodge this time, the bolt drives right into your stomach, sending you curling over.

Brah: Everyone retains memories of their past lives whenever they respawn, unless its something so traumatizing you'd want to forget it. Even when your character changes into a completely different race or class, that character is still essentially you, since every player character is supposed to be a meta-version of the player. I don't want anyone to worry about what your character is supposed to know and not know because that would be a pain in the ass to keep track of, especially when you're supposed to try remembering everything I write as this is what you'd be seeing and stuff. Because of how ridiculously slow and difficult progression is in this RTD, I'm not making death a hard reset. You're in fact encouraged to know things that your character shouldn't technically know in order to piece out what's going on in the world. All of the player characters are spawned from each player's disembodied soul, which retains their experiences.

Philosopher: Quasi-important NPCs cannot be summoned with your abilities. You can only summon things akin to basic mooks at this point. Besides, you're not powerful enough to summon her because, at this point, she has the power level of a boss and you cannot summon things that are bosses. You'd need some serious upgrades to summon something on her power level.

If anyone needs clarifications on their character’s surroundings/what they already know, or if anyone needs lore clarifications, feel free to ask with spoiler text or via PM.

TheSpacePhantom: (6) You move back over to the odd spot of grass and poke it. Seeing as it seems to be safe, you begin tugging on the grass. It doesn’t seem to be attached to the rest of the ground, and you see an entrance to a dark tunnel. But from within, you see a pair of eyes watching you.

   KYAHAHAHAHA!!!

All of a sudden, a great gust of wind pushes you backward, sending you near the hole in the middle of the depression. The sky above has suddenly become cloudy and grey and the whole plain seems to have been covered in some sort of whitish haze. All of the grass around you slowly turns grayish, and you can see streams of blood ebbing downward. You see half-decomposed human bodies spring up all around you. They lie unmoving yet their heads turn to face you for every movement you make. Shortly after, you see about twelve human spectres rise out of the ground, garments ripped at various spots. Their bodies look starved and have wounds in various places. All of them seem to be staring at you with eyes that seem to have shrunken deep into their sockets. Occasionally, when you turn to focus at one, the others seem to manifest somewhere else even though you should have seen them moving from one place to another or should have at least seen them disappear and reappear. Their movements are jerked and unnatural; they seem to switch from one pose to another without any transition between them. Occasionally, their faces shift into some grotesque image before shifting back to their ordinary state.

The image of everyone dying in front of you haunts you. Though you know otherwise, you get the feeling that unless you confirm it with your own eyes, you’ll turn to see one of them leering at you with that demented grin. You pull out your dagger and hold it forward, spinning around in all directions. Slowly the ghosts seem to be drifting toward you. For a moment one of them seems to resemble a dried up version of Sam and you think you hear him say, "Why didn’t you save me?" You turn to face the tunnel, and for a moment you see a unicorn standing in it, smiling at you. Note: You're going to see your perk at work fairly soon.

Trip (4); Ashen Goat Demon (2,4): Boss Battle Music that isn’t from Dark Souls! There isn’t much room for you to run around in your dirt house, so for the moment you stand while waiting for the demon to attack. It leaps forward and raises its right claw to swipe at you, but you quickly swerve to the right and duck down once the arm comes swinging down. As you prepare to head out of the exit, you begin to open the book. Shortly after you do so, the demon lands its feet on the back walls and then prepares to spring back towards you. Just as you open the book the demon leaps towards you once again, but the world around you seems to slow down and you begin to freeze in place as your eyes look over the text. The book seems to have opened itself to the Bestiary section, displaying the entry you wish to see.

It says, "Ashen Goat Demon: 2nd Level Boss; Class: Skirmisher

"HP: 4; Armor Strength: 0; Actions per Initiative: 1

"Despite its appearance, the Ashen Goat Demon does not fight like the Capra Demon, and it doesn’t have two accompanying guard dogs unless they’re already present for some reason. The AGD does not appear naturally in Savral; it must be constructed using bio-magical synthesis or it must be summoned via other means. The AGD is a high mobility attacker that primarily uses its claws for attacking, though it may try headbutting if both claws have been removed. It attacks by leaping towards enemies and then swiping with its claws, and can bounce itself off wall surfaces. The AGD’s jump is powerful enough that it can reach those who engage it with flight. Due to its fire affinity, it is immune to fire-based attacks and it can ignite its opponents whenever it strikes. Standing too close to the demon also may ignite its prey. Using water or ice based attacks may temporarily remove its capability to ignite its opponents. If any of its limbs are lost, it may try to regrow them. In addition, the AGD possesses the ‘Accurate’ trait, making it far more likely to hit with each attack." After this section, the entry lists a variety of ways to fight the monster with different classes. There doesn’t seem to be an entry for witch, but you find one for wizard and read it.

It says, "Wizard: Do not try running away from the Ashen Goat Demon, as it is much faster than you. First, use a simple spherical barrier spell on yourself. The Goat Demon typically cannot break through a barrier spell in one go, and occasionally it may break its claws trying to do so. While your barrier is intact, your next priority should be trying to immobilize the AGD, as it is helpless to ranged attacks without its mobility. Preferably, this should be done with a simple spellbind or an offensive rooting spell. Do not use ice or tree-root-based immobilization spells. While its rooted, you may feel free to use offensive spells, though you must reapply or strengthen the bind if the demon shows any signs of escaping. Prioritize on eliminating its legs first so that it cannot leap towards you."

As you finish reading the entry, the world speeds up once again and you feel the demon’s claws tear deep into your right shoulder and into your back. You tumble forward until you face the sky, with the demon stepping toward you.

Tabbune: (3) First, you pull the bolt out of your stomach. As the process is extremely painful, you cannot muster the strength to remove the one in your shoulder. After that, you heal yourself, and the wound in your stomach seals itself, relieving you of your pain temporarily. The skeleton on the ground still struggles to get out of your vines, but the one to your left manages to rip its crossbow out of them. The one guarding the street adjusts its aim and launches a bolt right into the top of your right shoulder. You send a mental command to your doge to dodge and stall the skeletons while you prepare something. As it was already doing this beforehand, you probably didn’t need to tell it this. Still, it tackles the skeleton nearby, making it drop its crossbow, and then runs over to tackle the one guarding the street, launching it and its crossbow a few feet. The other skeleton that was down crawls over to pick up its crossbow and then stands back up.
BRaHiAn1: (1) You try looking around once more for whatever attacked you. You seem to have lost sight of whatever figure you saw. However, after a minute or so, you feel something rip off your other leg midway up your thigh. You are now bleeding profusely.
Jondanger 23: (4) Despite your severe injuries, you begin to hobble over to the portion of the tropical forest to your right. You wander through the trees, though despite the abundance of foliage and fauna, there doesn’t seem to be much of interest, with the exception of a few stone statues here and there of different animals and meditating orcs. After a few minutes, you run into a well-built orc wearing a loincloth. He seems to have markings all over his body, though you can’t seem to discern their meaning. As far as you can tell, he doesn’t seem to be armed. He says, "Greetings there, small one. What brings you to this side of the Kari summit?"
Philosopher: (5) Before investigating the surrounding area, you begin to summon a ghost. As you wave your implement around, a large glowing circle filled with various arcane symbols appears on the ground before you. It opens up, revealing a tunnel of glowing, octarine light, and a flash of energy rises from beneath. After about half a minute, the summoning circle closes, leaving the markings on the ground, and you see a human ghost before you. He seems to be wielding a large spear and wears a torn tunic. Underneath his clothing, you see many scars all over his torso. He says, "I… I couldn’t stop them. Am I still alive? But they…" The ghost examines himself for a few seconds, but then continues, "It seems I am dead after all. So it is you who had summoned me here? Perhaps the gods still have some task for this old soul. Then I shall serve you, so that I may seek redemption. What task do you set for me?" He bows for a moment. After a brief introduction, you ask him to scout out the surrounding area. He says, "Understood." He begins floating about the forest until you can no longer see him.

After a few minutes, the ghost returns and says, "Strange, I thought the elves had died off long ago, but up ahead there’s a village full of them in sight. They’ve also got a few unicorn-like creatures with them, only they don’t seem to have any horns and they’ve got a brown coat. There’s human bones all over the site, some of them are making carvings out of them. I saw a couple huntsmen creeping around the place. They’ve got a few humans captive in that cage over there on the right. I hovered right over them, but they didn’t notice. I think the elves are feeding them something strange. I saw some bit and pieces of some strange meat at the bottom. I’d rather not stay near the village longer than I have to; I don’t like the looks of those creatures. Besides, I’ve got the feeling there are unicorns wandering somewhere in this forest. I saw an open plain off to the northwest, towards your left."

Kayne: (4) After speaking, Enri says, "Right, an angel you say? I have lived in this world for many years, but there are no such things as angels. That witch is a white-winged laguz; I wouldn’t be surprised that some would take her for an angel. I presume you have met this witch? You would not forget someone wearing an outfit as exotic and as white as hers, along with that strange implement she uses to disguise her sword. Make no mistake, that is her true form. She seemed to be a specialist in holy magic, though I noticed she had a few illusory charms around her when we fought. Nothing capable of outright mind control, but little things that alter your perception and make subtle influences on one’s mood. I don’t remember seeing any sort of minions around her, but with what I saw, I wouldn’t be surprised if she’d decided to build a little army for herself in all these years.

"When I was still human, I had heard many legends of a land far to the north where witches reigned supreme and demons roamed at their leisure. Some say the elves had descended from there long ago to wage war on all of mankind, until we had emerged victorious and banished them from our lands. Some had said they had met someone from the witchlands, but until that day I had never seen a witch with my own eyes. I have sent some of my soldiers to travel amongst the living, so that I may observe what magic others have learned and how people have changed over the years. When that witch appeared before this sanctuary, all of my soldiers standing a few yards from her fell in an instant. Even I had to conjure some protective ward just to keep her holy aura from burning me. I considered it a natural property of her, but it seems she can turn it off at will. Even now, not even the best of mages in the lands have mastered something like that; I could only match such capabilities because of my seven hundred years of isolation and mastery. Even though she looked like a laguz, she spoke none of their tongues but instead knew my own, even though the modern people of Keran no longer speak as I do. I’d imagine only witches would be capable of such a feat, though somehow you can speak to me as well, even though you come from some other place.

"Still, these times are troubling. About forty or so years ago, all the inhabitants of the Ixali city of Quasik-Kol had died, most likely in a unicorn attack. I hear the newly arisen kobold empire is being invaded from the north, most likely from an army led by witches. Just last night, one of my soldiers saw some foul darkness rising in the lands of the Sfali. With the appearance of witches and the growing aggression of the unicorns, I fear the end of civilization may be upon us."

Turn 54

First time posts for this session require you to state a race and class of a Dnd/Fantasy RPG variety. This is an RTD with some continuity and I want to make sure you don't show up with space-themed stuff when that doesn't fit with the general theme. I also recommend reading through my previous posts to get a sense of how I run things and some of the things you don't want to do. You'll also get a sense of the stuff that's going on by doing so.

BRaHiAn1: (4,3) After that attack, you quickly take a moment to heal yourself once more. Your right leg regenerates completely, but you’re still missing part of your left leg. You then begin to swim back towards the shore, as you don’t seem to be safe out in the sea. When you take a moment to turn around, you see a shark chasing you from behind. It swims by and rips off part of your right foot before turning around due to the water’s increasing shallowness. After a few more minutes, you eventually reach the shore. The battle still rages on, but it has drifted toward the coast. Many of the wounded dragonborn seem to have been moved nearby. Most of the defending force seems to be intact, but about three spearmen seem to have fallen since you last left, and most of the soldiers in general are sprinting around trying to avoid the arrows and magical blasts from the winged warriors. You see the mages and crossbowmen take out about three laguz, but there still seems to be many more of them. The cthuloid seems to be conjuring up barriers to block the magical blasts from the laguz while moving the injured soldiers out of harms way with levitation spells. Many, many raven/crows are flying throughout the air, most of them harassing the laguz while a few others seem to be carrying dropped weapons and equipment from ahead back to the defensive line. The cthuloid briefly turns around, and shouts, "They’re almost here! Keep firing at ‘em! Prepare for a counterattack!" The cthuloid doesn’t seem to notice you.
TheSpacePhantom: (6;4) You turn to face the tunnel and see the unicorn snickering at you. Therefore, you raise your dagger up high and charge towards it, screaming like a lunatic. As you run, you feel the ghosts reach toward you and try grasping onto you. Every time their hand touches you, your body feels suddenly cold and you feel part of your energy sucked from you. Still dragging yourself along, you eventually run up towards the tunnel, and the unicorn disappears for the moment. Trying to regain your strength, you run in and try to stab at it, but instead you feel yourself run into a spiked wall. You hear the unicorn’s voice,    "I can’t believe you fell for such a simple little trick! How can you be so stupid to fall for something like that? Haven’t you learned anything during our playtime? KYAHAHAHAHA!!! AHAHAHAHA!!! AHAHAHAHA!!!"

You pull yourself away from the spikes, and when you turn around, you see all the ghosts laughing at you. Thus, you scream at the unicorn in rage and terror, wherever it may be, and then you run up to the nearest ghost. As it tries to wrap itself around you, you stab at the thing furiously. One. Two. Three. Four. Five. After this, the ghost seems to disappear, and you don’t seem to see it appear once more. You try looking around for the unicorn, but it doesn’t seem to be anywhere in sight.

Trip {(1,6);(6)}; Ashen Goat Demon {(4,4);(3,6)}: You know that perk you got a while ago? It’s finally relevant. Also formatting for actions is derp. You quickly stand up and turn to face the demon. You then prepare a spell for conjuring forth a prismatic barrier. You make your incantation, but midway, you get the feeling that your spell might explode in your face once again, so you pause to think about your spell before continuing on. Once finished, you spread both your arms outward, feeling a great surge of energy within you. Once you finish, your vision becomes consumed with bright light and you feel as though every inch of your body is burning. You cannot help but scream due to the pain’s intensity. Once your vision returns to you, you see a two-layered barrier conjured around you, though you seem to have sacrificed your right leg in the process of conjuring it. The demon leaps upward and attempts to break through it with its legs, but only the outer layer shows signs of shimmering. The demon falls to the side of the barrier and stands back on its hind legs.

Shortly after this, you prepare a binding spell and focus it on the demon. Once you start your incantation, a large glowing circle filled with various symbols grows out from underneath the center of the goat demon, making a somewhat low-pitched ring. As you continue casting, the circle eventually extends far beyond the demons reach and includes you within its area. Realizing this too late, you complete the spell. Many iron spikes rise out from the ground and impale the demon’s legs, rooting them to the ground. At the same time, you feel a dozen or so spikes pierce through your remaining leg. Another also lodges into the place where your right leg used to be. The demon legs out a shriek, but then it raises up both of its arms, clamps them together, and slams them on your barrier. Both layers of the barrier shatter completely, but the attack seems to have sheared off both of the demon’s forearms, and it shrieks in pain. Still, you’re losing quite a bit of blood and probably won’t be able to survive a few more hits.

Philosopher: (2) The ghost responds, "I’m not sure what you’re asking for. They’re elves, and they’ve got bows, which huntsmen would have, but what more information do you need about them?"
Tabbune: (6) You call your companion to you so that you may ride him. The doge dashes towards you and then stops. You then mount him, but sitting on him is a bit uncomfortable. You then summon forth a spell that will protect you both. A greenish ring filled with ornamental curves and spirals grows from underneath you, with about thirty-six circles at the outer edge. After a second or so, several large, thorny vines burst forth from these circles and begin wrapping around into a dome around you. The vines form bracing roots into the ground. However, after several seconds the vine dome completely encases both you and the doge from the outside world, leaving you completely in the darkness. You hear two bolts ding against the outside, as if clashing against metal, but you quickly lose track of where everything is.
Kayne: (3) Enri responds, "I’m not sure what we can do. If we wish to stop this we would face the wrath of the witches and the unicorns. We have only seen one witch, but who knows what the others are capable of. The unicorns are an entirely different matter. Even with help, we may still lose against them. They are an ancient evil, far older than the days when men, dwarves, and goblins had first built their cities. One has already begun to expand its grasp in the Sfali plains, and I fear its people will not last much longer.

"I have cut most of my ties from the rest of the world, but if we wish for civilization to survive, then we must unite everyone, friend and foe, under a grand alliance to repel the unicorns and the witches from the continent. I cannot leave this sanctuary, or else the white witch might find and slay me. The lands closest to us would be the mountains of Spyrus to the west and Saa-Vuq-Atat to the east. Spyrus is home to many human clans and tribes, but you’ll have to speak to each of their village priestesses to gain all their support. Saa-Vuq-Atat is home to the many shade clans, but many of them do not take kindly to us undead. Their peoples may speak a common tongue, but they all worship different gods. You might wish to seek some allies amongst the living to cooperate with them and free them from their constant struggle. Though it seems the ones who worship the moon goddess Imari have grown in power over the years, as I have seen more shields bearing the golden crescent when I send my soldiers there.

"Otherwise, you may wish to head south to the twin domains of the orcs. Support from both nations shall be vital, but the two lands hate each other, and they speak different tongues. If you head to Ixal to the west, you might wish to speak to their king, the Rajah. The domain of Qal-Andu to the east is ruled by a council of monk-priests, and you must appeal to their philosophical inclinations if you wish for them to side with us. Should you travel north, you shall reach the land of Vaslem. When I still had flesh, Vaslem had been a part of Keran’s domain, but long ago, it had separated from the rest of the kingdom. A sun-worshiping cult seems to have taken over since then. I don’t know how willing they would be to cooperate with us undead. You may wish to head from there to Keran itself and receive the aid of the king’s mages and templars. From there, you may have to figure out things on your own. I still have yet to find a means of keeping track of those amongst the living. I can conjure a portal for you to reach one of these places quicker, but you’ll have to find a way back on your own."

Jondanger 23: (2) The orc says, "That is outside of my specialty. You might want to see an herbalist for that. I’d tell you to go up to the summit, but it appears you are not ready for that journey. The local village has no such person, but should you head to the south, you might find someone in the town of Lau."
