You can't? Well, shame on me then.
Double posting and I'm not even sorry.
Wake up you silly geese because the Pre-Order Bonus has been described right here:

Now playing: Etrian Mystery Dungeon.
Making this RPG series into a kinda-roguelike feels so right.
The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls!I hear that Sovereign is ridiculously broken in that game due to elemental arms being manipulatable (Cast it 10 times and a character will have +30 ATK, which goes to +27 permanently after it wears off) and due to one of the skills not working properly because Sovereign will evade it.
Seriously? I haven't heard about that yet.
The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls! So, I just saw a video that made a reference to Narmour from Etrian Odyssey 3 being an absolutely horrible boss.
Do people have suggestions on how they'd deal with him? I'm curious.
If everyone were normal, the world would be a dull place. Like reality television.narmer? the stratum 1 boss? he's easy.
cant remember a lot of details but one of his main gimmicks is that at some points in the battle he dives into the ground and you have multiple targets to hit but only 1 of them matters. use an Ao E attack.
his other gimmick is that he runs away after about half heath is reached, and his room is suddenly filled with Fo Es who pace back and forth his boss room while you chase after him. they're not bothersome on their own and when you finally get back to the boss he'll be healed (how much im not sure) but you shouldnt have too much problem finishing him off unless you were having a lot of troule prior to him running.
Fair enough.
The guy who was talking about it didn't seem to think it was that easy, though.
If everyone were normal, the world would be a dull place. Like reality television.Fighting bosses inside Mystery Dungeon-style bossrooms which seem to be FOE proof at first glance seems imba.
The random enemies with blue, yellow, and red miniboss aura are annoyingly tough, kind of like FOE lite.
The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls!easy in the sense that as long as you keep your HP and have ample healing and Ao E attacks, its not much different from a somewhat stronger, significantly longer-to-kill enemy.
theres nothing particularly TPK-y about narmer like there is with the 2nd stratum boss or the others.
nothing like an all-party sleep move followed up by a heavy hitting attack that only (or usually) hits those under status affects.

Etrian Mystery Dungeon is pretty neat. Beat the second boss today without a hitch.
Getting geared and skilled out to fight DOE bosses in Etrian Mystery Dungeon.
Dancers are pretty powerful when you start stacking dance buffs. I'm thinking using Dancers and Sovereigns in a party with a Protector, the buffs and regen stacking will be real.
Wanderers have insanely self-sufficient movepools, plus they have all of Shiren's skills/item attributes in some form (Dig, Blowback, Haste Scroll, and even Water Walking).

The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls!Pro tip: If you are having difficulties with a boss and feel like you might die, just walk up the stairs. Seriously. You can't use Ariadne Threads, but nobody said anything about using your noggin.
Just beat the 5th Branch boss. Forgot to bring fire-elemental attacks except for a 7-charge Sigil, so it took longer than I would have liked.
The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls! To make EO vets squirm.
The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls!Advice for those who hate the crab-type enemies that start showing up in Dungeon 4: They have insanely low health but insanely high defense. A Hexer with even a single point in Revenge can easily one shot them at full health, and with even greater ease at lower health. Very useful to know, since the quest for the Hexer blast skill book requires you to go into the 4th Dungeon as a solo Hexer.
Will the transhumanist future have catgirls? Does Japan still exist? Well, there is your answer. — UnknownYou can also destroy them with Whirl Scrolls, Demon's Breath, and by Sealing their Skills with the Seal Sigil.
The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls!Did I already mention the Game-Breaker that they accidentally coded into Sovereign?
I... Don't think so. What is it?
Will the transhumanist future have catgirls? Does Japan still exist? Well, there is your answer. — UnknownThe Sovereign Class' skills will add +3 Strength to a character that their Arms skills are used on before subtracting that amount when the skill wears off. However, due to an oversight in coding, this does not apply to stacked casts.
If a Sovereign were to cast Fire Arms 10 times on a character, for instance, the game would add +30 to that character's strength before taking away 3. This would cause that character's Strength to be permanently raised by 27.
And this can be exploited as much as you want.
Sounds very broken, lol.
In other news, I am about to embark on the 6th Branch dungeon. need to powerlevel some of my characters though.
The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls!Very broken, indeed. Wonder if it will get patched; it would certainly be a first for an EO game...
Will the transhumanist future have catgirls? Does Japan still exist? Well, there is your answer. — UnknownHey you European sons and daughters, Etrian Odyssey 2 Untold is coming out for Europe early 2016 if you're interested. https://twitter.com/AtlusUSA/status/588036980811894784
Also, why did no one post the Protagonist trailer?
But you can't use Classic Mode characters in Story Mode...
