@Nikkolas Well the Wing self-destruct knocked him out for like a month or something. This isn't G Gundam. It's just closer to G than normal Gundam. It's in a weird middleground.
By the time Heero and Zechs dueled in Antarctica, Heero was still injured, and at one point, his arm bled during the fight. Also, Trowa modified his Heavyarms to compensate for Heero's injuries.
Contrast with what happened to Kira after his duel with Athrun (Strike vs. Aegis) and possibly Shinn.
G-Savior is exactly as canon as Crossbone is (since IIRC the G-Savior had a brief cameo in Build Fighters, which is basically as much as the Crossbone X-1 got in G Gundam).
Which is to say, "less canon than anything that is fully and properly animated".
Gundam Info is now airing episodes of the Unicorn TV series dubbed. And for once, it isn't region-locked! WHAT MADNESS IS THIS?
but HOW?It's a delayed dub by 2 weeks on You Tube, Daisuki has them the day they air in Japan iirc.
And there are no new scenes, no new dub lines and they already had the OA Vs dubbed as well so why not, it might make people buy the B Ds of the OAV which are basically box sets of these episodes.
Crossbone got a cameo along side Wing Gundam in G Gundam as well.

Yeah I realized the show was nothing more than a recut of the OVA when the first episode ended extremely abruptly.
Saw Zeta ep 35 last night.
Being Kamille is suffering.
Jerid deserves to be thrown off a million more mountains.
But yes, Kamille's life is really shitty.

Jerid is an ass but personally, i don`t think in him as a actually evil.
Watch me destroying my countryStarting on Zeta ep 40 now.
I think Four was a hell of a lot better executed version of what 0079 tried with Lalah.
Also, Rosamy be super-duper crazy.
That is exactly how I feel. I couldn't stand Lalah and her romance with Amruo was just painful. It was clear enough Kamille/Four was supposed to parellel Amruo/Lalah but it was so much better executed for a variety of reasons, starting with the fact Four is a proper character with a backstory, personality and development. Lalah would make my Top 5 Worst Characters in MSG while Four would make my Top 5 Best Characters in Zeta.

I mean, don't get me wrong - Four had all freaking kinds of issues, and I'm not entirely convinced that she could've been saved from them.
But seeing her fate play out - even when I already knew how it would go - still made me sad.
The main difference between Amuro/Lalah and Kamille/Four is that while both were pretty pathetic as romances, at least Amuro/Lalah set the stage for the Amuro/Char rivalry to deepen from "enemy pilots who happen to encounter each other repeatedly" to "bitter foes with a deep and personal hatred of one another" via the whole love triangle thing (Lalah loves them both and refuses to choose one over the other, but neither of them is willing to accept that). Meanwhile, Kamille/Four accomplishes nothing but making Kamille angrier and angstier, neither of which are things he needed any help with.
Really from Jupiter, but not an alien.I'm of the belief that Tomino doesn't understand how interpersonal relationships are supposed to work...
All Four/Lalah clones in Gundam are very abbreviated relationships. I believe they were intentionally abbreviated at least after Lalah, and thrown into the theme of 'New Type Bonds' with love causing just as many problems as hate.

You would think Gundam invented the trope of Love at First Sight given how often this thread complains about it. Except it's a Justified Trope here because Newtypes. Plus, Four and Kamille actually spent some meaningful time together and talked and learned about one another, all this on top Newtype Bonds. Meanwhile, all I can recall with Amuro and Lalah is they sat on a porch together one time or something....

To be honest, every 'newtype' relationship just makes me roll my eyes. Well, except Tifa and Garrod and Rejii and Aila.
You gotta start somewhere. That's because those relationships were properly developed over the course of the series. And, not coincidentally, neither was written by Tomino.
Eh, it's still handled really clumsily. To me the more editorial control Tomino got, the more his characters suffered.

What I've seen of Tomino's work gives me the impression that he only understands how people work in the broadest sense
It doesn't matter how justified something is in-story if I, as the reader or viewer, have nothing invested in it emotionally. Newtype romances are a classic example of this. Since I, as the viewer, am not privy to what is going on in Kamille or Four's heads, I have no reason to invest even a sliver of emotion in their so-called relationship. That Four herself is only around for a couple of episodes simply compounds the issue, since I don't even get to know her well-enough to figure out what Kamille could possibly see in someone like that (besides, perhaps, a reflection of his own serious issues, which is not what you wanna be building a relationship on).
Frankly, I think the only time the mindlink worked for me was Haman and Judau. And that's because it didn't lead to romance, and more importantly, because both characters spend the rest of the show vocalizing what they see in one another.
I thought you were okay with the Lalah and Amuro stuff.
Also did you check out Iron Blooded Orphans? It's... pretty interesting, maybe not quite what I want out of Gundam but you know, as far as new Gundam verses there's been much worse, even if it it's practically a retelling of Gundam Wing in some regards.
What do you mean a retelling of Wing? I don't see it.
The retelling of Wing was 00. IBO has the least in common with all the rest of the Gundam series out of all of them.
& Aina Bernstein is fucking Relena Peacecraft and you both know it. 00 was about using terrorism to stop war between competing powers, while IBO and Wing involve a world (and space) aristrocratic governing force and are about colonists going to the Earth Sphere to fight for colonial independence; while a faction within the aristocratic military order schemes to reform it. Add on top of that emotionally stunted child soldiers, and I think its starting to look a lot like Wing.
Crossbone is in a strange spot, X-1 appeared in G Gundam so it is closer to canon than the rest of them and there are not any conflicts with Victory Gundam so Schrödinger's Canon?
