If i remember Correctly the Rafflesia is Actually a Mobile Armor. (Wich kinda Looks like a Flower)

That's kind of the point. The numerous tentacles and the general bulky head and shoulders shape make it look more like Rafflesia than they do any previous Gundam design.

You see those big cables on most mobile suits undergoing maintenance. It's particularly visible on SEED machines, but shows up in most settings.

Not all of them are cables. Look at the picture again; a number of them appear to terminate in points rather than at the edge of the picture or some structure.

That appears to only be true for the two 00-style clavicle antennae/fins on the shoulders. Everything else is recognisably cabling.

To Me, that Mobile Suit looks kinda Creepy or Menacing. i bet things with This New Project are going to the Darker And Edgier route.

And here I was wondering if others heard about the announcement for the upcoming series.
From what I can see, it looks like it's going to have a Gundam with a sleek design that takes notes from 00 and SEED. I'm hearing WMGs from forums that it could be the long-awaited threequel in CE. While it has received HD remaster broadcasts, I doubt it's going to be a new CE series due to SEED Destiny's generally negative reception outside Japan. In fact, I'm doubtful it's going to be a sequel to any of the previously-established timelines. Perhaps it's a new timeline that will drag the franchise back to Darker and Edgier material? Regardless, I'll be very interested to learn who will be writing and directing the series given that AGE and Reconguista were... disappointing to say the least.
News regarding the Build Fighters OVAs would be a nice add-on/"one more thing" announcement as well, but we'll see.

That spectacularly slim/jagged waist makes me think of the TTGL.
But the Shoulders of Doom and the head outline make me think of classic Tekkaman.
So, I really have no idea what direction this might be going in.
Since when did that concern any Japanese animation studio? They make stuff for domestic consumption, not international.

Looks too clean for a SEED silhouette (they're all about the extraneous blocks, tubes, and fins). I imagine this is yet another new setting.

Not sure about those - they've started adding colour and linework (click the page again), and all the protrusions under the pauldrons seem to be cables. They fade away into the black background rather than stopping, although the black-on-very-dark-red-shading-into-black does make it confusing.

Well its been a while since Gundam left the Real Robot realm... since... G-Gundam actually
So them going outside the "Real Robot box" again is long overdue.. Doing an Armored Hero Gundam x Tekkaman Blade would be kinda cool and different
so instead of "Its a Gundam" it be "He(She)'s a GUNDAM!"
