Still room for improvement...: Cats Are Mean

A while ago, I replaced the "cat flipping off the camera" image with a "cat eating the bird" image before deciding to revert it again. However, the trope isn't so much "cats like to insult their owners" as "cats are sinister." So I figure I shall mention more impactful candidates:

This has a cat in a stereotypical villainous pose, and the images in the eyes will probably go away with shrinking.

This has a cat looking like it would rather threaten its owner than express affection.◊

This has a cat looking like it's trying to strangle another one.◊

Alternatively, this has the current image in its original background.◊

Any pictures of evil cats in fiction? The Siamese cats from Lady And The Tramp? Doctor Claw's kitty? Mister Bigglesworth? Look through the examples for inspiration.

Agree, still room for improvement. The photographs/lolcats are all bad, imo.

I like the Strangling one, but I don't think LOL Cats are allowed. I think they're regarded the same as Demotivators. The LOL Cat image on There Can Be Only One had to be taken down.

I'd rather an example from media given a choice. There have to be some good ones.

I know I say "no caption!" all the time, but, I say no caption.

Yeah, I think this is one case where the caption can be left off.

I'd rather use something of an actually CUTE cat though, while still remaining sinister. Not being cute is obviously unusual for a cat, and the idea that an "unusual" cat would be sinister isn't all that fitting for a trope that implies that "most" cats are sinister, rather than just some of them.

I do love the azumanga pic alot ... maybe with an image of a couple frames before it where it is 100% calm and waiting for a pet then Chomp.

I'd really rather something from media and I think the Generic Cuteness the anime cat has going for it is fine.

It is a photograph (or something), not an image from media. A photo isn't the end of the world if there is nothing better from media, but, that is not the case here.

Because we catalogue tropes in media, not in real life.

I like the first Lucifer pic. Big sharp teeth. I don't like Simon, as he doesn't look sufficiently catlike in that particular picture.
