Empire Records, for the first time since I was about 17, at which point I'd probably had it memorized (I liked it at the time, but for a while my sister was watching it every day). Can't really recommend it if you didn't already see it at a certain time in your life, or were never a teenager in the 90's who somehow got the idea that working at a record store would be the raddest thing ever. But the nostalgia was enough that I enjoyed watching again.
Big Fan. I liked this, especially when I started noticing parallels to The King Of Comedy.
Just discovered that, despite having to remove my video card (it's a long story), I can still watch instant movies on netflix, which will help out this whole movie a day thing considerably (though I'm still gonna do some spur-of-the-moment tv watching for this purpose).

I love that movie. "Sausages! Just like my mother used to make!"

I hate Brendan SteereI put up a work-page for The Alphabet Killer. I can see why the movie did so poorly, but it's worth a rental/netflix/TV viewing. If nothing else, Eliza Dushku's... err... performance... was quite a pleasant surprise.

Anyone else catch both parts of Che? It's a really cool movie, and really eye opening to me, knowing none of the history around the man.
I hate Brendan SteereCuriosity compels me to ask which two? I saw The Seventh Victim recently and thought it was great. Well, maybe the penultimate scene felt a bit misplaced. I'd like to see more, shame about the lack of region 2 releases.
...is out to lunch.I loved Isle of the Dead, and I also enjoyed Bedlam, though the second one not as much. They were packaged together.
I've been wanting to pick up I Walked With A Zombie or Cat People for a while, though...
I hate Brendan SteereOh, Jerry Lundegaard, you stupid, stupid, man.
What's the frequency Kenneth?|In case of war.I liked Fargo SO MUCH MORE when I learned to stop rooting for Jerry and just give in to the fact that he was stupider than anything else with a brain stem.
I hate Brendan SteereMarge is the hero of the whole thing anyway.

I just watched the original movie of Buffy The Vampire Slayer. Being a giant fan of the show, it pained me.
I also saw The Last Airbender today. So, I guess it was just my day to watch beloved TV shows become awful movies.
To break this, I'm holding off on watching the second Eva movie until tomorrow.
I hate Brendan SteereIt's painful having the Kuzuis on the series credits for that.
...is out to lunch.Having now seen You Can (Not) Advance, all I can say is "Dear god, I love Hideaki Anno."
I adored the anime (it was one of my gateway series), and have seen it numerous times over the years. Rebuild 1 was one of my favorite action movies of the 2000s, and 2 did not disappoint. Man, I can't wait for the third, especially to see what exactly happened to Asuka, her being my favorite character and all. Man! What a trip...
I hate Brendan SteereDreamscape has a page now. I just watched it tonight, and thought it was pretty darn good for a 1980s scifi movie.
Visit my contributor page to assist with the "I Like The Cheeses" project!Watched Street Fighter. Loved it. SO MUCH.
I hate Brendan Steere^^Loved that movie as a kid.
Kill all math nerds^ Seriously, who thought that that would be a good idea?
The Philosopher-King ParadoxWas it even a box-office success?
What's the frequency Kenneth?|In case of war.I didn't mind the original that much, but that's one of the last movies I'd expect a sequel to. Why. Why is this necessary. Everyone I know seems to hate the movie.
I know this is off topic (although Constantine was the movie that started me disliking Shia Laboeuf or whatever the hell his name is), but does anyone know why the guy (Fasil) was backflipping at the beginning of Highlander?
My Blog: Read and enjoy! My Blogcritics PageShia Labeuf was in Constatine?
What's the frequency Kenneth?|In case of war.Yeah, pretty sure he was the sidekick.

I just saw In The Mouth Of Madness. I thought the beginning was pretty slow and unimpressive, but the last third was nightmarishly brilliant.
