I don't think it's a wallbanger. He's retiring isn't he? Nothing Wallbanger about it.
Big No seems to be the appropriate response.
What? People aren't allowed to move on?
Seriously, it kinda annoys me when people act like something like that would be most horrible thing ever...
^I don't think hes retiring, just that this will be his final time as Joker.

^Oh, fair enough. I'll definitely miss his presence in the inevitable Arkham Asylum 3 (Arkham...World?)
New info... with some very interesting explanations about Riddler's involvement.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.AWESOME! I loved the riddler's stuff in the first game, especially how hilariously condescending he was. Half the time I was just ignoring Joker to solve the riddler's puzzles.
The lack of the map is going to make this heaps more difficult but at least I won't feel like facepalming every time the riddler asks how I solved everything when he quite clearly leaves his maps lying around.
I'm a little ambivalent about the detective mode thing. On the one hand at least it makes the challenges slightly easier to find now that the map's gone, but on the other hand that's just one more reason not to turn detective mode off.
Also, multiplayer confirmed.
1v1 versus. That's... interesting.
Anyone who assigns themselves loads of character tropes is someone to be worried about.^^^All that stuff was mentioned in Game Informer.

Long live Cinematech. FC:0259-0435-4987^^ Love it. LOVE IT. So there's option Co-Op both in Challenge Rooms and in the main story (albeit in side stories). Perfect. Just what I thought.
And it looks like they're implementing it the way I figured it would work too - both players have to be stealthy and strategic, and work together towards that aim, or in versus you wave to be more stealthy than the other person, most likely while avoiding the other person as well so they don't mess you up.
Edit: Never mind. It's a false alarm, apparently it's just speculation. Crud... gettin my hopes up.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Batman will now perform interrogations.
He'll have equipment to spot one thug in a crowd who is an informant - he'll then have to beat up everyone but the informant (who's also attacking) in order to interrogate him.
Jonah Falcon^ That's kind of old news, but thanks for bringing it up.

My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.Jean-Paul Valley? Is that you?
Jonah FalconDammit, Riddler's making his crap harder? Well, nice to see the challenge.
Also, interesting stuff on the multiplayer, especially the time attack that includes others besides Robin, Nightwing, and Catwoman. Can't wait for more.
Well, given that there weren't any playable vehicles in the first game and I barely thought about adding some to the formula, I'm not particularly mussed about it.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.I guess some people were expecting some sort of sandbox GTA clone or something, while this game should be more like Assassin's creed in its sendboxyness.
I did like the mention that they aren't making Arkham City a complete sandbox, because easily one of the problems with that game format is that you sometimes just wander around until you find what you're looking for. Having a free form exploration is nice, but at the cost of the story doesn't work.
New teaser: http://kotaku.com/5709212/who-is-hunting-batman-in-arkham-city It's only thirty seconds long but it does show Batman being hunted (and hunting) SWAT cops (or possibly GCPD, or Arkham City Guards or whatever). Which is new I guess
And The Fandom Despaired? Wall Banger?
