Double post. Going slow so far, but I'm doing better at gathering Demons than ever before.

Glad I decided to cheat and keep my levels and items and all that. I'd hate to have to go through Early Game Hell again.

Clever girl. If you want it to be more challening set it to the higher difficulties so it isn't quite as easy with those stats.

...nah.

I'm just gonna cheese it.

I'm chaos anyway. We don't have to play fair.

Wouldn't a Chaos follower want the challenge?

I guess it would depend on whether Rob is Chaos-Light, Chaos-Neutral or Chaos-Dark.

I'm Chaos-wants to win.

Always knew Rob was Dark-Chaos.

That sounds like a synonym of Chaos-Dark to me.

So now that I have Mido back, I've got the fusion data for the Archangels, my boy Mastema, and...probably some other dudes that I forgot from my Law Run...

Can't fuse them yet. Don't have the right demons, so I'm trying to fuse anything I didn't before in order to get them. It likely won't be easy though. I may just have to break down and check a guide to see who and what I need.

Double post.

So I'm doing my best to widen my demons list in order to hopefully create more options for fusing the angels.

I also want to fuse Plasma (who I have never actually fused before). I checked the wiki, and one of the demons I need is Flames who I've never fused before...I thinking. Anyway, it said any two of the Jaki, Drake, Nymph, Fallen or Snake races, so I recalled a Bai Suzhen and a Black Frost (so Drake and Jaki), but there was no Flaemis.

It irks me. It irks me so much. I had no idea I needed that dude, and never bothered because he was so low level. Now I can't actually get him when I do need him.

If I can't even do something that simple, then getting the Archangels and some of the other guys are gonna be hard.

Elementals are made from two of the same race.

...shit.

Edit: Is their level important. I'm still not getting Flames.

Edit 2: Never mind. I see him. Along with a few other dudes that might be useful. Thanks.

Sorry for another double post, but I'm about to fight my boy Issachar, and I wanted to be sure on my choices.

So, for Chaos, I should go for any option where I'm a jerk to him right?

No, I'm pretty sure you're supposed to say you're a casualty and choose to finish him.

You sure.

I'm near positive I chose to say I'm a Casualry before.

Then again, I chose to spare him both times (White ending and Law route) before, so it makes sense to just kill his ass this time.

Anyone else got some advice?

Edit: Eh. I ended up killing him, though I never got the Casualry question this time. My level is too high (since I'm 99 and all).

Also was able to fuse Koga Saburo, who I never got before. Gonna work on levelling up my demons and getting a few dudes I missed out on before. Gonna be fun I'd say.

Edit 2: And now I've finally fused Plasma. I'm taking advantage of the challenge quest to quickly level my demons so they can learn all their attacks and I can level get all their attacks for when I fuse them.

I'm really trying to fuse more dudes I missed out on before. With luck, that'll help me with fusing the big guys.

Had an idea for a mythological character than I think would be a good Megaten villain. Presenting DEUS SOL INVICTUS - God the Invincible Sun. Don't know him? He's very obscure today, but he was among the biggest deals in the world around the 200s-300s AD. He was the chief god of the Roman Empire of the period, regarded as on par with, if not stronger than, Jupiter (Zeus). In fact, some historians even believe that, had the winds of fate blown a bit differently in late Rome, his cult, not Christianity, could've become the world's most powerful faith.

If it were up to me I'd write him as an "evil Neutral" antagonist opposed to the Law faction for supplanting him. Maybe even bring the Divine Powers back with him as their new leader.

Regarding him , I am interesed in deities like him or The Supreme Being from the French Revolution, a deity for Neutral could be interesting.

In other things, I had to said that I think that Spin Offs could do more interesting things than mainline, and to today, Devil Survivor still had one of the best plots of SMT to me (YMMV, of course).

DDS is pretty high too in the general list.

Devil Survivor series seems to have a general consensus of having some of the best stories in SMT franchise

Haven't done Digital Devil Saga yet

I think that is because basically mix a more traditional narrative style with the ideas of this franchise, the Show, Don't Tell of mainline is a issue for its ideas, while a more "mainstream" narrative works better to explain the themes, the Exposition Dump works great on SMT , while sometimes can be annoying, ultimately I think that it can do more good than bad.

I am a bit, dunno, annoyed that there is no demon in that video, the part with the legs of Cerberus sitting around the girl was pretty cool, is sad because the contrast of a otherwise normal setting with suddenly demons there without doing anything is actually pretty cool.

In other news, knowing personally most of the commentors of that video is weird.

Also, I am interesed on the Yoga Guy, maybe he is a villain? He looks ridiculous but that is makes him looks good.

Revisiting DeSuO, was there ever a canon explanation as to Haru's power? I know she has Aya's song in the sequencer, but the demon worshiper and Belial makes it seem like she has ability herself. Maybe she's another Abel or part demon?

Haru has power because she can sing Aya's song.

Poor Jack Frost, this should be his season.

Maybe he gets to be in the Valentine Day card, but I doubt it.
