Didn't stay for the whole stream, it seemed to have a lot of talking and all. A summary of what's been revealed would be nice.

• Allies level up
• Being vague while implying that it is Nozomi as the one girl in red clothes
• Tweet campaign reveals some stuff early and gets two early pieces of equipment for the game
• Moon Phase System returns, Partners level up
• All routes are Neutral.
• All Negotiations are brand new.
• Guy in white oufit is shown in Mikado
• Girl in purple mask is with Gaens

An entirely neutral route; apparently there are Neutral, Neutral(Anarchy), Neutral (Peace) and Deep Neutral endings .

There's a twitter campaign.

Battle system was incredibly similar to IV's, bosses still ask questions,

you can fill up an assist gauge with the choices you pick

I'm not sure if it's true or not as I missed it, but it appears Light skills/Hamaon do damage now as well.

All demon stats have been changed from IV, they can use multiple types of magic.

Isabeau will be in the game, her actor said she doesn't have any new lines.

Another stream will be in December.

Wait, every route is Neutral? Wow, this is probably the smartest SMT protagonist in franchise history.

Some other info

• Demons that ambush you can be smirked at the start of the battle
• There will be around 450 demons. All new ones made by Doi along with refining all the guest designs from IV.

So... here I was the other day on a Brazillian manga sharing site...

And I found out, to my utter surprise, they had Maken X Another in it.

Given I never played the game, I am seriously considering reading it.

Isn't 450 demons less than SMT 4 had?

IV had around 392.

For some reason I thought it was closer to 500.

The only thing about this that doesn't sound ridiculously awesome in the multiple Neutral endings thing. Mostly, I'm just not sure how they're going to play it. I mean Neutral (Anarchy)? Isn't that just Chaos?

That Medusa re-design's incredible. Looks like it lets you know what abilities will benefit from a Smirk this time, too.

i get the feeling the IV Medusa design was... unpopular, since they're sorta making the new design the "face" of the game, it seems like.

I've been seeing ideas that it will likely be neutral routes that lean close to Law/Chaos for Anarchy and Peace without being them.

Since the two who embody the path (Dagda/Nozomi) are effectively fairies and fall under polytheists, which oppose the Monotheists which is also made of Law and Chaos forces.

Plus the whole Deicide likely means he won't let any demons survive since even a small weak demon could effectively rise to become a powerful god.

By the way, IV had less that 392 demons. That number's from the category at the Wikia, which also includes the more than 40 demon races in the game and a number of unplayable demons like the Ashura and Gaea henchmen.

There's going to be more than 100 new demons.

Well technically that list could include the unplayable ones as well.

But yeah if the number is that low then it looks like Devil Children Fire/ice Book win for most demons in a game until Final.

@Isn't anarchy just the chaos ending: I think the difference here is that you aren't siding with the demons. The overall aims are similar to chaos and law but the protagonist isn't going to side with Lucifer and Merkabah to make them happen.

I'm kind of worried the endings will be a bit samey though. If they're all just some flavor of neutral where you kill all the alignment representatives then what really distinguishes them?

Speaking of Krishna, in the trailer there's two other shadowed demons behind him. One looked like Kinmamon, with the spherical head, and the other was wearing what looked like a winged helmet. Maybe Hermes?

Moon Phase System returns - Awwww. Well, as long as it's mostly irrelevant like Strange Journey and not bullcrap like Nocturne I can deal.

All routes are Neutral - Wow, this is brilliant. Everyone knows by now that Law and Chaos will never lead to anything good, so having every option be Neutral is a great way to make you actually think about your choices again.

Light skills do damage now? - If true, they might be bringing back the Digital Devil Saga style Light attacks.

Does Hama deal damage or do they just have light skills that do damage in addition to the instant kill spells? Nocturne has attacks like Violet Flash that are light aligned in addition to the instant death ones.
