Watching a blind LP of DDS2 is an exercise in schadenfreude.

Ugh I'm having a really hard time staying alive in SH. Even IV didn't seem to have Rocket-Tag Gameplay this bad. I mean I'm level 20 and can still get my ass kicked by level 10-15 demons. What am I doing wrong?

Have you tried changing up your equipment or keeping certain demons out?

If it comes down to it there is always the hacks.

On the plus side, demon capacity up to 12, woot!

Yeah, it's suddenly gotten much easier.

Airport clear. I've unlocked the App Store; does anyone know when the App that lets you recruit DARK demons is unlocked?

EDIT: Just checked, two more dungeons. That's not very long.

Huh. I just learned from /smtg/ that apparently, SMTIV sold so well they're giving it a cheaper re-issue in Japan.

Maybe we won't have to wait another decade for V after all.

It pulled numbers far beyond expectation in both of Atlus' main markets, and despite the extremely stupid series of events regarding its release in the PAL territories it's done okay as a digital-only game there, too.

To a large extent, I'd say the Trojan Horsing with the Persona games has been a net gain for the series internationally.

It sold 600k units. P4 Golden sold 700k, but IV's sales were still higher than expected, beating out both Nocturne and Catherine which was supposedly the best-selling non-Persona Atlus project until now.

How well did Strange Journey do? I think its numbers in comparison to that is a better metric.

113k in the US.

Back on IV. Got the Demon fusion app again, and the compendium. Gonna try and fuse some demons I missed before as well.

And in other news I think I'm still raising Nemissa wrong. She's level 25 and can still be two-shotted by pretty much anything of a comparable level. Why is she so frail?

I've been neglecting poor Zeed, as well.

She's a squishy wizard is why. Buy the most expensive armors and try to end battles fast so enemies don't get to attack her in the first place.

So that's normal for her?

Auto Plant clear. Moowis's final form was the first genuinely challenging boss thus far, but compared to the hardest in SJ and IV he wasn't much. Ouroboros would eat him for breakfast. Possibly literally.

I also bought the app that lets you speak to DARK demons. NO ONE IS SAFE.

So is there any particular reason so many spinoffs of this series start with D? Devil Children, Devil Survivor, Devil Summoner, and Digital Devil Saga all do that.

Probably because "devil" and "demon" begin with D.

Oh yeah, Nemissa dying is really common. I forget, can you rearrange the party? If you can, try putting her behind the MC and leave her to magic spam or shoot a gun.

I suppose although it's kind of weird that three of them also have an S in the title.

Just fought the hooded man again.

Knowing what Jonathon will become in the future when I do the Law path, hearing him just not care about Casualries and Luxurors and say fuck it! we're all Samurai here! makes me very sad.

I know it was sad that he just wants things to stay the same even if it means screwing over Tokyo and all that, but I still can't help but think he still had the potential to see beyond that.

Now it's time to go get some DARK guys and make up for lost time!

EDIT: Sweet! One of said DARK guys I got was a Mad Gasser, and he's got Blight! Funtime!

So I just fused a buttload of demons I never had before, including Medusa.

So yeah, I never had Medusa before. But I do now. I'm curious to see what new options I get now.

Be sure to max out Medusa's skills; the last one she gets is the amazing Gun Pleroma.

Yeah. I saw Gun Pleroma. I left a space for it.

The thing is, in some cases I gotta check to see if the skills they receive are as good as the ones I can give them if I end up maxing out with how many I can give them.

Also, it's ridiculous how much experience I get for completing quests. Quite a few of my guys are going up ten or maybe 15 levels in one just (though it helps that they are pretty low levelled).

I'm also gonna have to see if I need to get more app points (I had a lot, and I spent it all until I was down to just 100). At the least, I need 200 for fusion booster X.
