So how big do we think the SJ ships are? I think I may have been underestimating their size. The crew seems quite sizable, with the named characters, the various unnamed technicians seen in the background, and YHVH-knows-how-many dead Red Shirts. Presumably in addition to the areas you can visit, all these people need places to eat and sleep, right?
The pig of Hufflepuff pulsed like a large bullfrog. Dumbledore smiled at it, and placed his hand on its head: "You are Hagrid now."Really damn big, basically. Like aircraft carriers but land-bound, with some of the length folded up into extra height.
I sure said that!Carrier size? Wow. I've always pictured them as, like, about as big as a medium-size store or a small apartment building.
The pig of Hufflepuff pulsed like a large bullfrog. Dumbledore smiled at it, and placed his hand on its head: "You are Hagrid now."... I don't think about military hardware much. I might have overshot my goal by just reaching for the first really big military vehicle I could recall.
I sure said that! They are basically ships though.
Heart of StoneCarriers are the largest vehicles that exist. There is no classification that's larger than "carrier". They're basically skyscrapers that float. Like, seriously, the largest carriers are longer than the tallest skyscrapers.
Maybe more like frigates?
Heart of StoneReally makes you think there must've been some advance warning about the Schwartzwelt, given that these ships and Demonicas had to be designed ahead of time.
The pig of Hufflepuff pulsed like a large bullfrog. Dumbledore smiled at it, and placed his hand on its head: "You are Hagrid now."Steven strikes again!
One Strip! One Strip!honestly, i think thats the most likely explanation.
stephen was here in mind, if not in body.
I wouldn't be surprised if they began development as weapons of war, then repurposed when a bigger threat emerged. That, or the Schwartzwelt appeared some time before the start of the game, and the technology was made to specifically counter it (or even a combination of the two).
Remember, the Demonicas originally didn't have Demon Summoning Program access until they already entered the Schwartzwelt, and as shown with Jack's Squad, those who didn't have it were basically flying blind. I doubt Stephen was involved.
Don't PM me. We don't like being PMed.Yeah the suits and ships weren't designed to combat demons, and the DSP was given by the Three Wise Men.
It's in IV where the Demonica was specifically built to combat demons, and the tech is different from the one in SJ.

Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession. It is actually briefly mentioned that the Schwartzwelt started as an extremely thin but extremely tall pinprick of a thing, then got wider and flatter as time went on. I wonder when it was detected?
The pig of Hufflepuff pulsed like a large bullfrog. Dumbledore smiled at it, and placed his hand on its head: "You are Hagrid now."Okay, started SMT 4...I don't think this game is for me. I've died multiple times on what seems to be the tutorial alone. I thought I'd like it because it's an Atlus game and that it would be like Persona but...I don't know if I want to continue.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.It gets better. Just make it past the first two bosses.
The pig of Hufflepuff pulsed like a large bullfrog. Dumbledore smiled at it, and placed his hand on its head: "You are Hagrid now."Better in what way?
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.Gets way easier. The difficulty curve is super borked.
Okay, good.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.SMTIV is not known for having a steady difficulty curve. Just make sure to bring Ice to the Minotaur and then everything after that should be smooth sailing if you have Megaten fundamentals down.
For Those who Seek the Thrill of Death: A Dramatic SMT3 Hard PlaythroughOkay. Is the Minotaur one of the first two bosses?
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.The mainline games aren't like Persona 3 and 4. You need to keep that in mind.
He's the first major boss.
There's a couple of minor bosses before him.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Alright then.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.There's another tricky boss very soon after the Minotaur that will require Force spells to beat, and after that the game opens up a ton.

Finished New Game Plus and Atsuro's route. Belberith took some planning after he forced me into a bad situation during our first fight, leading me to money grind and buy a Ganesha as well as re-plan who would crack what skills.
Babel, in turn, wasn't that difficult. I thought it was appropriate that Atsuro be the one to deal the finishing blow on him.
