"Very well." the Lich cracked his fingers noisily. He started twirling his hands and snake head in arcane gestures while chanting in a deep, cold voice, and a wall of force, similar to the shield he used earlier, extended from him to in between the Koopa King and the flower-spirit.

Seeing as the little girl in front of him wasn't moving, he tried something different.
He looked behind Blink, pointed a claw, and said "Hey look, a shiny!"
The cracked ground from where he originality missed Yuka and split it, had grown to three times the area it was before, with a soft orange glow showing through the cracks.

Ravage frowned. Now that he thought about it, there was something...odd about the female named Blink. Surreptitiously he opened his internal commlink and whispered, "PHANTOM. If you are receiving this, run a scan on the Blink female."

"It's a SPAS-12 combat shotgun," Gordon explained. "Fires 12-gauge buckshot and is plenty powerful to rip through some fairly strong armor."

Naoto watched the scene in annoyance, wishing that they could all be a bit more mature. She was a bit surprised that Blink of all people was handling this. She made sure to pull out her pistol in case something else broke out.

Gordon scratched his head. How, exactly, to explain a shotgun?

-The coach continues progressing down the unlit tunnel. He trods on a hidden panel, and silently a great concrete partition slides behind him, blocking the path completely. He continues down into the darkness, the concrete eventually replaced by naked rock.-

"And besides, as long as I or she has at least one HP left, we'll still be able to go at it."
