She doesn't even look like she's looking at him.

Fight smart, not fair. That could work. It might look a little better without the text, though.
Yeah, that would be perfect without the text. Although I suppose we could always just crop it.
Reaction Image RepositoryIf the picture was cropped and the text was used as a caption, that could work.
That image was gotten via google fu... looked up my version of the ep, Hard subbed though (thank god that the file name has the ep number) and there is like half a second of no subtitles. [1]◊[2]◊[3]◊[4]◊[5]◊ (the line about the hearts he is the one who is saying that.)

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.I'm nominating the above pic, it shows the trope really well and as I said before, we could have the original line as a caption.
Seconding.
Fourthing.
I'm convinced that our modern day analogues to ancient scholars are comedians. -0dd1Fifthing.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickDoes the pic example feature a crush that "makes little to no sense," according to the trope description?
And do we care?
It shows the trope. That's enough.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickLet's see he is her useless assistant (she even says so) and she is in love just cause he is hot... and the entire ep is a Magical Girl spoof/deconstruction (down to waiting in line for the restroom just to have a place to change/transform).
She is even worse in Black Cat with Train Heartnet. although I couldn't find a good shot of that one without it looking like something else (she likes to try and kiss him but he puts a black cat between them.)

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!Actually, falling for someone because (s)he is hot makes a LOT of sense to me. ;)
(And I asked in the first place because of concern that a pic that didn't actually fit the trope as written would encourage/contribute to Trope Decay.)

So toss it up?
Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!Yeah, put it up.
I think "being hot" make justify attraction, but not the mind of intensity that this is talking about.
It's up

The character shown is a good example of the trope, but in the image her attraction to the guy is barely shown. We need an image that clearly shows a teenage girl in love with another guy.
