That Marcone looks like he should be expecting James Bond to die. Or maybe getting punched in the throat by Liam Neeson.
And that kind of math makes me happy.
Marcone is a complete idiot throughout pretty much all of Down Town.
Still not embarrassing enough to stan billionaires or tech companies. So I skipped book 2 and I'm like three chapters into Grave Peril. Been introduced to Michael and some stuff about confronting ghosts.
And that's it. See you all in a few months, or whenever it is I dust off my Kindle again!
Fanfiction I hate.Reading about Las Tierras Rojas in the Paranet Papers really makes me want to set a game there.
Still not embarrassing enough to stan billionaires or tech companies. That being?
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.Basically Central and South America post-Red Court.
Otherwise known as 'everything's fucked, yo.'
There's a Red Court rage vampire who really wants to be Batman.

Still not embarrassing enough to stan billionaires or tech companies.Bit too Hulk Smash in defense of the innocent to pull off the code against killing, though.
Red Court? My memory's a bit fuzzy, but weren't they the ones Dresden fucked up?
“Not a promise, not an oath, or a malediction or a curse. Inevitable." - Taylor HebertMath meant a Whamp.
"You can reply to this Message!"But why would you ever want to skip Book 2?
The first three books were really not all that great. Hell, the first two were basically the same book with the names changed. It was Strictly Formula, right down to "Harry brews some potions for something, circumstances change to negate their original purpose, but he ends up using them for something unexpected during the climax instead". It wasn't really until the fourth book that the series hits its stride.
Really from Jupiter, but not an alien. You'll still probably want to read books 2 and 3. 2 has the first appearance of the werewolves, and 3 has a whole host of characters who'll be Important Later, though on a more main character note you've got Thomas and Michael.

Heart of StoneYeah, they're worth reading through once, if only because they introduce stuff that keeps coming up again later. They're not terrible in and of themselves, but they're definitely no where near as good as the rest of the series.
Really from Jupiter, but not an alien.Going back to the Red Vamps a bit, do we actually know how they, used to, reproduce? I may have missed a few lines reading the books but it was never clear, to me.
Now, we know that it's not via bite. They keep whole villages drugged-up for years with their saliva. We also know that Susan was somehow "infected" with their demonic thirst. So... do they convert people into half-vamps by feeding them their blood or something?
It is sometimes an appropriate response to reality to go insane. The nobles are apparently the only ones who can do it. Maybe their bite is just Special.
Still not embarrassing enough to stan billionaires or tech companies. For the record, my country probably wouldn't be a shithole post Rampocalypse.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.You know what's sad?
It's been almost a year since I went perusing Dresden Files fanfic archives and there are basically no real additions of any note. Not even for the Dresden/Marcone ship.
"You are never taller then when standing up for yourself"It'd get a little bit shitholier, at least. Tough to escape the results of that kind of implosion.
TBPF, I'm not super familiar with the Dresden fanfic scene in general but it's never been terribly robust, from what I can recall.
In general despite a wide fallowing the Dresden fandom as a whole is pretty slim. The strongest community is the RP community- and even only holds it's own against works with equal sized bases.
I'm not sure why, but on the whole the Dreden Files fandom tends to be so -passive-.
"You are never taller then when standing up for yourself"I'd agree with that. But it's also one of the sanest, calmest, and nicest fandoms I've seen.

Well, if that's cup of your tea, there are writer that updates his Dresden crossover, not regularly, but often enough to gives me hope.
I have seen the stupid that dwells in this particular fan community.
I respectfully disagree.
Still not embarrassing enough to stan billionaires or tech companies. It has the least crazy. You can't expect any fandom without some stupid in them.
Being the best doesn't actually makes you perfect.
Now I have to ask, where is that exactly. Because I see "The Land of Quakes and Hills" and I think New Zealand.
If you just want to only ruin his day, a well placed one apple is enough. Ruined engine block or roof will do that to you.
The problem is that, like sniping, shooting an apple from orbit into specified target requires you to count many variables like you wouldn't believe. Visual parallax, Earth rotation, wind situation, clouds, air drag, change caused by speeding through sound barrier....
Also, tracking apple sized things in orbit from ground is really, really hard to do.
It's much, much simpler to just dump big, observable object on your target, with math much simple, on account that even if you miss about 10 m, you still got result.
With lots of Collateral Damage, but still got result nevertheless.
Also, apple, and anything made of sugar in general, is bad choice for shooting from orbit, on account that they usually won't survive reentry. Better have apple made of uranium, or heat-resistant ceramic, if possible. Or diamond. Or....
On Harry and miss Naga: I more counting on possiblilities that Dresden accidentally makes a faux pas by calling her(?) "Miss" Airavata.
