Hmmm, this could come in handy. Lord knows that I wouldn't have known about the Steam Holiday Sale without the notification earlier.
Join us in our quest to play all RPG video games! Moving on to disc 2 of Grandia! The Hollywood Video in Springfield Illinois has Persona 4 for ten bucks.
I know that's not really practical information but I'm still mad I didn't buy that when I was in there.
See you in the discussion pages. There are Nintendo coupons, $5-10, in Kellog's cereal boxes a while ago. You will no exceptions, get at least $5, and I managed to get a $10 on a second buy. This is pretty good!
She's playing with fire! He's not ready for Nibbly Pig!Chrono Trigger for DS for $20.
Jonah FalconSteam has Torchlight for $5.
Good Old Games currently has a discount on the Kalypso games.
Amazon is selling Assassins Creed II for 360/PS 3 for $29.99.
Jonah FalconFor your information, Steam is currently offering every Quake game they have (unfortunately, not including Quake 4) for half-price. I might take advantage of this deal, actually...
READ THIS COMIC. | Read along as I play through my games collection! What strikes me about that deal is that Quake 3 and Quake 3 Team Arena, which are now open-source, normally cost $20 each.
Technically, their game engine is open-source - you still have to pay for the actual games' content.
And if you don't feel like shilling out the twenty bucks, there's always Open Arena.
READ THIS COMIC. | Read along as I play through my games collection! That's what I mean - with OpenArena, QuakeLive and the like floating around free of charge, how is Quake 3's market price that high?
I suppose some might want to play with the Quake III community instead of the Quake Live one.
I was interested when I saw the series pack, but then I read iD didn't feel like emulating the cd-rom so there's no music or FMV cutscenes for the first two games and theirs expansions. Might as well wait for the inevitable GOG release...

Jonah FalconRemind me how Steam works again. Do they just give me the files? Does that mean once I have them I could install them on my Wii?
See you in the discussion pages.Putting them in your Wii would hurt, I think.
Jonah FalconSteam = PC game only.
You purchase the game, then it added the game to your "Games List".
The list is split into two categories: Installed and Not Installed
Double-click an "Installed" game to start the game.
Double-click a "Not Installed" game to start the installation process. The game then downloads from the Steam servers and installs in the background while you can do other things on your PC.
When done, it becomes an "Installed" game. See above.
I like the Steam platform. Very simple and I don't have to worry about misplaced discs.
Speaking of Steam, Borderlands is half price - $39.99
I'm prolly gonna regret this.
Again with the data mining, dear Aunt?Borderlands cost $80?!
Jonah FalconYeah, it appears on Steam, they were charging Australian prices everywhere in the world, just for Borderlands =P
Seriously, it was even more expensive than that here at retail. Being a gamer in Australia was a ruinously expensive hobby before Steam.

Again with the data mining, dear Aunt?I once picked up The Getaway at a Gamestop for three bucks. I was gonna get Mc Donalds, but I decided, hey, why not get a cheap game instead?
What's the best deal one could get for a DS? I heard the price for the older ones went down recently.
