Planet of the Hats

Basically, the idea is to create a planet using the same method as the one word story. One attribute is added to the planet every post. It can have astronomical properties, such as having a Wierd Moon or orbiting a black hole, or it can go into detail about the inhabitants.

First characteristic:

The planet's name is Placet.

Second Characteristic

Everybody fights each other with Ducks for sport. The Ducks have specifically been bred to be extreme weapons.

Third:
Duckdueling is, in fact, the only sport or competition of any sort.

Fourth: Ducks are known as 'Stabbikwaks'

Fifth: Most major conflicts and wars are over Stabbikwaks breeds. The eating of Stabbikwaks is also the worst crime.

Sixth: When a Stabbikwak is born, its parents spontaneously combust. However, they live.

Seventh:

Placit was a prison colony originally, hence the inhabitant's propensity for fights between animals.

Eighth: When a Stabbikwak's parents spontaneously combust, they have a 50% chance of transforming into bricks due to an immediate instability in their genetic signature.

The instability, of course, is the sudden shortage of explodium in their DNA.

Tenth: If one cannot find a Stabbikwak, they can use a swordfish.

Tweleth: The most popular drug comes from boiled Stabbiwak beaks.

Thirteenth: Unless you are a noble or sell said drugs, in which case it's encouraged.

Fourteenth: However, Stabbikwak beaks are especially explosive when boiled and are thus closely monitored in the planet's trade system, making them exceptionally difficult to come by. Usually the only people capable of producing the drug are nobles and controlling forces in the black market.

Fifteenth: Cats and humans are the dominant species on Placet. The cats can learn and talk and stuff just as well as a human.

Sixteenth:

Placet does a figure eight around two stars. The occulting of one star by another is societally significant for both humans and cats.

Seventeenth The humans have eight limbs, and the cats have six.

Eighteenth: In the rare event that a human or cat is born with fewer limbs than the standard eight or six, it is to be sent to one of Placet's moonbases for use in research on the effects of Stabbikwak explosions on surrounding elements.

Nineteenth: The most common last name on Placet is O'Toole.

Twentieth: The second most common last name is Vasquez, owing to the large population of cats with this name and unfortunate instances of mass inbreeding therein.

Twenty-First: The first and second most common first names are Terry and Perry, respectively. P Terry, a combination of the names, is the third most common name.

Twenty-third: One or two major continents on Placet's religion is Cthulhuism.

Twenty-fourth:

In addtion to Cthulhuism, Pastafarianism, Klaxonnairtch, Perry's Way and the Curch of Vasquez are major religions. All of them try to convert each other through Stabbikwak fighting.

The currrency is pennies. Each penny is equivalent to roughly one million USD.
