This. This right here.
Canada Guy is officially related to Noa Bright.
I must admit, this part greatly bother me (less than the stupid wall strategy but still): in addition to Coelasquid's remark, I think that not knowing such a basic thing about his robot tells volumes about the quality of his training, and he is one out of 8 people capable of saving the world.

I'm just bothered they called it a chainsword and one point.
Me and my friend's collaborative webcomic: Forged MenThat is the first even remotely negative remark I have heard about the movie.
I really need to see this movie, don't I?
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."Dunno, haven't watched it myself, so I don't even really care about the whole hype about it.
It's fun. There are problems, but if they robots punching monsters don't make you forget/forgive them, well then.
Me and my friend's collaborative webcomic: Forged MenPsssh, I watched karate bugmen punch monsters basically all weekend. And weekend before taht. And boy does Kamen Rider have plot problems. I'll be fine with Rim whenever I get to it
But my capacity for hype is all exhausted by the next Rider season which is going to be bananas. And I mean that literally in case of The Rival.

I'm going to go see that movie in half an hour, actually. Hope it's good. I'll probably like it anyway.
I thought it was really fun! wish Mako had more agency, but it was a fun ride. like a jaeger
ophelia, you're breaking my heartI too, really enjoyed it.
Couldn't complain. Too much plot would have got in the way of the robots.
Yeah, my only complaint, besides the wall being one of the stupidest ideas in all of fiction (at least they were called out on it in the movie) was that a couple more lines and actions at the finale could've gone to Mako.
However, I'm glad she was there, instead of some Top Gun bromance.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyI really rolled my eyes when the oxygen started running out of her tank. i mean really? really? you go to all this trouble to set her up as a badass and then Raleigh gets to be the big damn hero all by himself?
I really loved the relationship between her and Pentecost tho.

ophelia, you're breaking my heartFor the sword, I just figured Mako didn't remember it up until that moment.
It was, like, a new feature.
I thought it wasn't that he didn't know of it, he just hadn't considered it.
There was a discussion about the swords in the Pacrim thread. I'll quote myself.
They weren't proven to work yet. There wasn't enough room in the city to whip them out. They hadn't trained to use them. Revving them up would leave them open. It slipped their minds. Some combination of these and the other explanations. It's not like they weren't handling themselves fine without them for the better part of the battle.
I mean, I can't count how many times I lost a game of Magic: The Gathering only to realize after that I had a winning hand... Or got killed in a video game with an "I Win Button" in my pocket.
Although Coelasquid actually got a response from one of the writers on Tumblr explaining that the mind sharing thing was a stream-of-consciousness link and that it takes awhile for people to instinctively read another's mental cues.
She did? That's pretty cool.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.Well, that's one good non-military use of technology. I approve.
