I don't know what it is, but Madarame's reaction implies to me that it's almost certainly a quote, and makes absolutely no sense in this context.
The translation seemed kind of iffy this time around though.
Agreed, they seem to think it's a quote (possibly two different ones, in fact), and that it makes no sense. Not sure about the translation thing though.
Though thinking about it, Sue quoting Ogiue a few chapters ago was an unusual variation on her anime/manga quotes, lol. (That bit was comedy gold, for me at least.) I wonder how she heard about that incident...though my personal epileptic tree is that her manga collection is sufficiently massive and universe-spanning that she actually owns a copy of the Genshiken manga.
New Genshiken and it's blindingly good. Madarame! Ogiue's smile! Sue being... insightful?! My heart is filled with joy.
A little bummed that we missed out on their trip to Ikebukuro. (Akihabara-equivalent for female otaku, fact fans.)
Reality is that which, when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. The Madarame/Saki subplot was one of my favourite threads of the original series, so of course I'm delighted it's being picked up with some great forward movement.
ROFL at Ohno's doomface. Also,DRAMATIC DRAWING!
Yajima is jealous of Hato's good looks? Just when I thought Kio couldn't plumb the depths of counterculture any deeper,we have a fujoshi trying to bully a trap into stopping crossdressing.

Reality is that which, when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. Thanks Ack Sed, I did not expect this until next week at the earliest.
Yajimacchi is quickly becoming one of my favorite characters.
I guess Hato does have a thing for Madarame.

This series.
The win.
IT NEVER STOPS.
Share it so that people can get into this conversation, 'cause we're not the only ones who think like this.Maybe...
I want a chapter from Yoshitake's viewpoint.
It would be all sparkles,ALL THE TIME.
Yoshitake and Haruna. Separated at birth? Discuss.

Reality is that which, when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away.I love how in Oguie's mind, Madarame has to be the bottom, no matter the pairing.
I feel sad for Ohno, getting shot down immediately by Ogiue. Though I guess it was to be expected.
And I loved the response after Hato's...explanation. "Okay, let's move on, nothing to see here...gah! Can't stop fantasizing!"
I binged on the last 3 chapters that I missed, and I actually found myself laughing. The awkwardness, it's hilarious!
Sooo...Hato has an erogami?
Did not expect that, but I LOL all the same.
Reality is that which, when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away.I didn't notice this, but Sue's wearing dungarees. Kyyuuute.
Reality is that which, when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away.Review of Chapter 61. Seems like I was right about the shipping.
Reality is that which, when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away.I watched the first season for the second time, after quite a long time, and you know, it's not quite as good as I remember it being. Still enjoyable, but not as clever or funny as I thought. Maybe my opinion of slice-of-life has just gone down in recent years...

I'm of the opinion that the series only really takes off when Oguie shows up in the OVAs. (Not only does she changes the group dynamics a lot, but it's also the point where Sasahara becomes president and gets to be a lot more interesting.)
So yeah, the first season ain't so good.
I originally thought the second season was considerably more... flaccid. I guess I should rewatch it as well.
Just remember it's 1st season, then OVAs, then second season.
Reality is that which, when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away.Spoilers for Chapter 62, but the most important news is that it's getting a full serialisation.

Anyone happens to know which series Sue is quoting here? Or has she finally moved on to being able to speak (semi-)normal sentences?
