360-the first Bioshock...well it's not that scary...but it's the worse I can think of....or Condemned: Criminal Origins...but that's not exactly scary either.
PS 2-never played any
Wii-Silent Hill Shattered Memories...but the game sucks, no combat, only one enemy type, and you can't kill them. And it's short.

"Every opinion that isn't mine is subjected to Your Mileage May Vary."^We're all going to pitch in, so even if the game is short I'll only be out like ten bucks. It just has to be scary!
Basically, the idea was inspired by this video (who says you can't find something good on It Just Bugs Me!, haha):

Fear is our ally. The gasoline will be ours. A Honey Badger does not kill you to eat you. It tears off your testicles.Yeah but that game isn't exactly that scary anyways...of course, Silent Hill was never that scary to begin with once you turn 12...but that's the best I can think of.

"Every opinion that isn't mine is subjected to Your Mileage May Vary."^Is it really a phobia when it makes common sense?
Fear is our ally. The gasoline will be ours. A Honey Badger does not kill you to eat you. It tears off your testicles.Fear is subjective after all, but if anything I'd suggest Silent Hill 2, Fatal Frame 2, or Eternal Darkness. The three of them are usually cited to be some of the best in the genre, and I personally enjoy them.
...I don't know actually. I'm surrounded by friends who have all sorts of crazy phobias that...I wish I knew how they developed.
One girl is arhacnophobic, another one have a phobia or large agitated horses, and another friend have a phobia of silk worms that hangs from tree using their silk. And one male friend have a phobia of fishes that jump out of the water.
Oh yeah, heres another suggestion, Resident Evil 4 for the Wii. Best. Shooter. EVER. Thanks to the Wii's motion controls...
Whether it's scary or not is subjective I guess.
Seriously, girls are supposed to love horses. I can't see how she could be afraid of large horses.

"Every opinion that isn't mine is subjected to Your Mileage May Vary."Resident Evil 2 I'd consider to be scariest of all the Resident Evils, if only for it's low tech creepiness.
ALL CREATURE WILL DIE AND ALL THE THINGS WILL BE BROKEN. THAT'S THE LAW OF SAMURAI.PS 2.
SILENT. HILL. 2.
Actually 2, 3 or 4 would all be good really.
CAUSE EVERY GIRL IS CRAZY 'BOUT A SHARP DRESSED MANIf you can emulate anything (MAME, for example), Splatterhouse is a must play.
ALL CREATURE WILL DIE AND ALL THE THINGS WILL BE BROKEN. THAT'S THE LAW OF SAMURAI.Scariest one I've ever played is probably Eternal Darkness.
Alternatively, there's some pretty creepy mods for Classic Doom. Happy Time Circus 1 and 2, Unloved...
Silent Hill, the original.
No, I haven't played the sequel.
Half-Life: Dual Nature, a crossover story of reasonably sized proportions.I've "played" Eternal Darkness in the sense that I was sitting next to a friend while he played it.
Let's just say we knew some of the things that were going to happen and we still got scared out of our minds.
So, yeah, Eternal Darkness.
Fatal Frame was a good series. It was tense. I tended to enjoy the stories and pointing out the various Japanese folk lore related crap. That damn Hide and Seek Boy in 2...Damn him...DAMN HIM. Making me jump.
If someone wants to accuse us of eating coconut shells, then that's their business. We know what we're doing. - Achaan ChahAnd no one mentioned System Shock 2 yet? For shame.
Expergiscēre cras, medior quam hodie. (Awaken tomorrow, better than today.)If you don't mind emulating games, LSD:The Dream Emulator (Playstation) can be scary at times. Especially if you don't know much about it beforehand. Though, the graphics are pretty poor, even for the Playstation, and gameplay-wise it is... barely a game, really. I wouldn't recommend it over the other games mentioned, for various reasons, but it might be interesting to play in addition to whatever else you decide to play.

I didn't so much play System Shock 2 as "inch my way, very slowly, through the opening portions, save before the first ghost, spend the next day inching towards the door, opening it, quitting as soon as I saw my first zombie, and spending the rest of the night near tears".
Half-Life: Dual Nature, a crossover story of reasonably sized proportions.I wasn't sure whether LSD counted so I didn't mention it. But I agree with DYRE.
[1] This facsimile operated in part by synAC.PC: System Shock 2. (How's F.E.A.R.? Is it actually scary?)
PS 2: Silent Hill 1-3, Fatal Frame 1 or 2.
Of them all, I'd probably rate Fatal Frame 1 the highest for sheer scariness. To quote a guy on another forum: "I had to quit playing and go back to Metal Gear Solid. I decided to relax by killing heavily armed terrorists with my bare hands because playing a teenage girl taking pictures in a haunted house was freaking me out."

I was gonna suggest condemned 2, but I think you figured that one out...
I would suggest Clock Tower if you wanna emulate, that's pretty freaky.
I never really played it, so I don't know if it's scary, but Haunting Ground for the PS 2 is a pretty good horror game.
Did you show him the Del Lago secret in RE 4?

One of my few regrets about being born female is the inability to grow a handlebar mustache. -LandstanderOcarina Of Time! Jabu Jabu's belly really freaked me out. Or failing that, the Shadow Temple and Under the Well are both pretty creepy.
Also gonna have to throw in Eternal Darkness. It's not terrifying so much as it's profoundly unsettling, but it's still a good candidate.
i'll go with clock tower , it uses cheap shots to scare the crap out of you
you have to run , hide and solve puzzles without getting killed by a freak with a giant scissors

The first Silent Hill (on PSOne) is pretty much the only video game that has legitimately scared me. I hear most people love the sequel more, but I never got through the first one.
I wrote about a fish turning into the moon.No. Play Yume Nikki, bitch one of the Silent Hills or Fatal Frames.
So for Halloween me and my buddies were planning on playing the scariest game possible in the dark. Any suggestions?
I should probably add that we have access to the following systems: X-Box 360, PS 2 & 3, Wii (yeah, probably a longshot, haha), Nintendo Gamecube, a computer, the original X-box and potentially a Sega Dreamcast (if we can get it to work).
