Mab should really pay more attention to her tail but I'm sure this will catch on as a new (painful) fashion statement.

You know it's bad when a piece of anatomy you don't have tried to curl up in sympathy...

You know for a title character, Mab has criminally low screentime.

Welp, she is pulling every single string in the vicinity for all she's worth. If you show that up-front, you lose the mystery. <shrugs> But, yeah: maybe about to be fixed? smile

[up]Appears likely. I hope to see more of what Mab has planned and see if she'll be able to save all of her friends (though she's already stated that some will die) because I know that some of us will be shedding tears if she doesn't. However, I must wonder how exactly their predicted deaths will play out because with Mab being, well, [[Cloudcuckoolander: Mab]] she could be talking of their dying of old age instead of ,what I presume to be, a bloody death in some kind of war.

All I have to say is doesn't that hurt? I mean bear traps aren't exactly weak on the clamping pressure.

Possibly, but knowing her species they probably make pain nonexistent or something or make it feel like rice pudding.

Wow the art has come far. Also, when was the last time Mab appeared?

From which perspective? Hers, ours, Alexi's or... well... whatever objective timeline she has decided to make cry in a corner lately?

Well, asking when's the last time she appeared from her perspective doesn't make much sense, does it? Of course, she's a Fae, it comes with the territory.

Hmmm. It's always a little jarring to see the characters appear for the first time in the new artstyle.

Uh... I think Abel might actually find that an interesting sport even without Fae input. Remember his therapeutic interest? [lol]

@Major Tom: As in, I believe Mab has never appeared since Amber announced (yet another) art revamp a few months ago. It's the first time we've seen her new face.

.....

Grass growing. They literally sat there and watched grass grow. I think my mind just stopped.

And for her next trick, well shall be shown that the Far also like watching paint dry and I've melt.

They've explored all the fun things in the multiverse so hard they looped right back around to the grass-growing therapy.

And, it's in 3D! [lol] But, even without glasses, the right paint will still give you a headache. It's a win-win! wink

I tried and failed to think of something witty to say about that.... "Grass Growing" contest..... >.>

I agree with Euodiachloris, maybe Mab, her fae friends, and Abel should get together and have a drink while discussing the joys and wonders of watching plants grow at their ever-so-regaling pace? Ooo, maybe that'll allow Mab to consider Abel as a friend and increase his chances of survival in the nearing conflict foreseen by Mab? Fingers crosses.

Speaking of Abel, I've just read the tropes Hope Is Scary, Never Be Hurt Again, Broken Bird, and Jerkass Façade, and I'm wondering if any of these apply to him. Any thoughts?

All of them fit... particularly Hope Is Scary. He seems to spend his life trying to squash any thought of hoping for something ever again by wearing jade-shades. He's rather kidding himself, mind. May I present for evidence his calling everybody's favourite poodle "Fa'Lafel"? Without a hint of snarking at her (well, until afterwards), but in all faith she would respond?

Scary thing is due to their longevity grass growing probably doesn't even take that long from their perspective.

Or more rather, they have literally all the time in the (Fae) world to do such silly things.

About Fae silly things... I think I'd stick to the boring method, too.
