^ Go read The Forgotten.
Well, FWIW, I only got introduced to Robotboy long after I had read that particular strip, and I had not made a point of memorizing the robots' appearances as I was under the impression that they were all either from Atomic Betty (where Vexus comes from, IIRC) or original creations of the author like the rest of The Cluster.
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.... Why aren't they escaping already?! They're already in the escape pod, it's seemingly prime and ready, JUST LAUNCH YOURSELVES OUT OF THIS LOSING BATTLE ALREADY!
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.Makes sense. The Irken are a very prideful race. Take a look at some of the major Irkens. Zim never thinks his plans failing are his fault. The Tallest shot an Invader out of a canon because said Invader was short, fat, ugly, and a slob and they didn't want him as the face of Operation Impending Doom II. Said Invader (Skooge) was very proud of himself, especially his shortness. The main reason for Tak's takeover of Zim's "assignment" to Earth is her wounded pride due to Zim stopping her Invader test and then inadvertently trapping her in the testing room. Finally, all Irkans think they are a superior race to ever other race in the galaxy and use that as an excuse to takeover and terraform planets to their liking.
Also, Tallests Red and Purple love enjoying snacks while watching a group of inferior creatures suffering while the Irken armada crushes them. This is just an extension of that (without the snacks).

"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."... I heard that Irkens are stupid, but this takes the cake.
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.Agreed. How exactly did these guys crawl out of the seas, much less build an interstellar empire?
Trump delenda estThey stole it. Which is why they send single agents to steal new worlds.
"Show us the Galaxy Warp."New page. Urgh, I'm gonna have to agree with Purple Tallest here; she's UGLY!
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.Maybe it's just the pace of the updates... but I've been losing interest in this series ever since the science fair started.
Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).I've lost interest in the series ever since the title characters vanished into the void, never to be seen again.
"Show us the Galaxy Warp."So, was rereading the comic as a bit of reminiscing, and had a bit of a shock when I got to this page and actually paid attention this time:

The two robots in the upper left, the ones that haven't shown back up yet, belong to an old cartoon that has been plaguing my memory all summer, yet I can not remember the name of it. And every description based search I have attempted has failed to give me anything to work with.
Does anyone know the name of the show they are from?
Their cockpits reminds me a lot of the Robotix toyline.
"And as long as a sack of shit is not a good thing to be, chivalry will never die."THANK. YOU.
Yes that is it.
Probably sounds crazy that I couldn't figure it out, but "80s cartoon about giant robots" is not even close to a narrow field.
I didn't even know there was a cartoon until many years after I got the toys. The cartoon had probably not been released in France (or at least, little to not advertised) and in fact I don't remember even seeing TV ads for the toys. I guess just the toysconstruction sets being in stores was enough to sell them at the time.

"And as long as a sack of shit is not a good thing to be, chivalry will never die."... Seriously, Tallest Ones. Are you saying that you didn't consider invading your very own ship, throwing insult after insult at you, and then humiliating you by subverting your own systems and protocols enough to warrant a declaration of war?
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.Sooooo...What was the point of all this again?
Queen Vexus is an ally of the Cluster, who are collaborating with the Big Bad OC that's attacking Megaville and the PPG right now. These events are concurrent with the attack or are a prelude to it.
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus. To deliver us a classic Bugs Bunny gag.
I just found out that those robots are the Orbots. I have never heard of that show.
To fulfill Vexus's lifelong dream of being a Decepticon.
Yeah, that avatar's a 'Shop of my real face. And now, back to our protagonists on Earth... or what seems to be a flashback of them, at least. At least now we know what happened off-panel about 120 pages ago (which was only hinted semi-vaguely at by other Mandy and Bubbles until now).

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.I get the feeling something in this is going to prove very relevant to that last page showing Grim and Dee Dee.
Update. Oh no, Vexus got Robotboy under her control!
