After finding all this info I embrace this image◊ as my lord and savior from all this madness since he isn't as crazy as the book writer.

Araki didn't write it, though.
Also, I'm fairly certain I read somewhere that the writer of Jorge Joestar made the bits not about Joseph's father completely crazy so that no one would take it as canon.
And yet ASB references it in Kars' Mirror Match dialogue. Apparently.
"My name is Noriaki Kakyoin." "There's no need to say it twice."

All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not. Also, Kakyoin smiles quite a bit in Part 3. I don't remember why people think he smiles rarely, since he's normally pretty amicable when they're just relaxing or turning around a battle.
Or molesting a cherry with his tongue.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel. The OVA did the Jotaro vs Dio fight justice save for one or two annoying changes. Honestly you should watch it, some of the animation is better than David SC and while it's basically an abridged version of the last parts of SC the parts it does cover are done pretty well. It kind of has its own mood and isn't super fabulous, rather it plays up the horror aspect more.
Note the 90s OVA and 2000 OVA are different despite covering the same part. The 90s one is better IMHO.
but JP dio kind of sucks, and while English Dio is solid the other V As not so much...I guess D'Arby is cool though since he sounds like a southern gentleman.
But BS at Jotaro only getting his ability at the end, Star Platinum could do more than punch crap ya know. But he still Oras better than anyone else.

I have no idea why the 90s OVA decided it was a good idea to start in the middle of an arc.
"What's out there? What's waiting for me?"Wasn't it the then-most recent manga arc? Maybe they assumed everyone was familiar with it. Alternatively, it didn't really matter too much how they got there. There's a guy in Egypt whose ass they have to kick.
Buuuut... an explanation for Stands would've been nice. And I had no idea what was going on with that Ripple part of the final battle. So, maybe they really were banking on recency and familiarity.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyThe OVA was okay but obviously assumed you knew everything about Jojo.
also again English DIO was great but needed Brit accent
just finished the first round of the beetle fight with Jobin. nice to know that JJL!Jojo has learned the most important lesson in combat, especially for this series:
when outmatched... cheat.

All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.Okay, finished the entirety of Part 6, minus last few chapters.
Stone Free is awesome, and all in all it's surprisingly coherent, but Heavy Weather, whaaaaaa? That stuff is weird, man.
Also, Made in Heaven. And of course it's a time-related Stand, what a fucking shocker. Jesus, Pucci, stop hoarding Stands, man.

I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel. It's not a time related stand. It's the time related stand.
I'm sorry you had to suffer through Heavy Weather.
he went through, like, three before it all ended, right? and yeah, Heavy Weather was... something else.

All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.White Snakes's power is literally hoarding stands. Also illusions, but that one doesn't get much play.
I'd say having more than 2 Stands count as hoarding.
And yes, Heavy Weather. The entire fight was the most bizarre thing I've ever seen while reading thi manga.

I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel. And I hated it really. Its a shame too, it came right after the fucking amazing Bohemian Rhapsody.
If Heavy Weather was the highest on WTF factor, Bohemian Rhapsody was the highest in HOLY SHIT factor. It's kind of amusing how someone with that kind of Stand, a villain at that, got a really mundane ending.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.BR was the best fucking thing man.
Bohemien Rhapsody's ending is completely amazing. Like, the audience always thinks of ways to abuse open-ended powers, and then they question why the characters don't just do that.
But here, we have a character who absolutely thought of doing something like that, and used it to beat the bad guy.
Plus it was funny seeing Weather Report threaten to kick Pinocchio's teeth in, even if I don't really like Weather all that much.
And Anasui being victimized by fairy tale characters never gets old.
I was surprised when I read elsewhere that the entire BR fight is kinda based on the song's structure.
It starts out with fantasy and real life blurring with one another, and gets increasingly trippy as it goes on; a man gets shot through the head (although he doesn't die here), there's a sequence where someone demands to be let go from others, and it ends with nothing really mattering to one person.
It's been a while since I read that arc, but I doubt it's a coincidence, at any rate.
Anyone wanted more info on Jorge Joestar, the most bizarre book ever? Have some new Stands!
Edit: Added the new pictures. Man I want to read this once it's done.
Multiple Kars◊
Kira killed Lisa Lisa out of love.◊
Also, Doppio apparently has a Stand that turns things into phones. And Diavolo is a ghost.
