The point of this thread is to list your favorite tropers and say what makes you like them so much. Please be specific; we already have Gushing About Shows You Like if you want to gush about TV Tropes or the Forums in general.

EDIT: Chopped the list because it's now quite outdated, and there are some comments in here that only made sense back in 2009 and may have even been a bit creepy.

I like most of the members of the fora...I suppose if I have to be specfic and name names...mellon, Meaty, Tzetze, Miijhal, Haven, William, Bobby G, BLAMMY, and Kat are very well liked by me. Very much so.

• Vandro: You are a great guy, even if you don't think so.
• Blam: Us underage midwestern female tropers gotta unite! You rock.
• Kira: I like how you stick with something like updating the Trope Pantheons or rewriting My Immortal even if it's big nasty work.
• Bobby: You're such a nice guy! And you help charity! Very winful.
• Aon: You're pretty awesome.
• Meaty: I think you're quirky in the best possible way.

• Bobby G: You remind me a lot of myself. I'm glad you finally found your purpose, or are close enough to it. I'm sorry for that little existential crisis you had recently, but I'm very glad that you got through it.
• Tzetze: You're delightfully weird. I love you for it.
• Solstace: You're also really cool. You meet most of my criteria for "cool guy" and that's good.
• Haven: I'm not sure exactly what I want to say to you. You're really awesome, and I know you have problems, but you seem to be trying to find ways to get past them, unlike myself, which I find rather admirable.
• William: We've starting talking on AIM recently, and I like that.
• Zyxzy: I find your religious conviction to be quite admirable. Plus, you're one of the nicest and calmest people around here, which is quite good.

I know I have more to say to most of y'all, but I can't think of anything off the top of my head...Well, actually, that's a lie. I could very easily just repeat "You're really cool" to a lot of y'all, but I won't.

After R Ping with daltar, I found him to be a person after my heart. Oh, and AOD is a pretty cool guy, eh. Compliments me and doesn't afraid of anything.

Eh, I'm bad of thinking of reasons for why people are cool, and the list would contain the majority of tropers I've had any sort of interaction with.

Oh, I understand. There are lots of tropers I'd love to tell I think are awesome, but I can't think of anything more than that they're awesome. Um, short list of people that nearly always make me happy when they post:

• Zudak
• Faw
• Kris
• Aon
• Mellon
• Katrika
• Vandro
• GMH
• Afghan Cap
• Goggle Fox
• Freezair

There are other people I like to see around and who I like to talk to of course. These are just the ones that almost always make me feel good.

• Katrika: So cute and mad sciencey! And she takes Trope Kira's attention very well. Not easily offended, which is a plus!
• Afghan: Incredibly creative and able to write engaging stories at the drop of a hat! It's craycray! Also: really, really attractive. Damn.
• Freezair: She makes silliness into an art. Even when her jokes on't make me laugh out loud, they give me a warm and fuzzy feeling.
• Everyone who writes the FATAL lieblog: Thank you. Thank you. Okay.

I pretty much like Goggle Fox for the same reason El does. Back during the "Conservative Bible Project" thread, or whatever it was called, when we were both trying to help Bobby through his existential crisis, I felt very close to a. Also, the fact that you keep your gender identity/sex concealed is really funny to me.

Not to mention you're just generally awesome.

I really don't think it's gonna take long before this thread turns to generic hugs...

I agree with, like, what everybody said about everybody else. Because it's true, and because I'm too damn lazy to write out a whole huge long list of exactly why everybody else on here is totally awesome. :P

• THX 1138: When you were around Headscratchers, it was a golden age for that subforum.
• Nornagest: Making the rest of us feel stupid since I don't know when.
• Vampire Buddha: Good guy to have around discussions. Certainly wouldn't have known about the Animation Age Ghetto in Japan without him.
• Bobby G: Nice bloke. Has a few Berserk Buttons, but don't we all?
• Arilou: Scandinavian. Good fellow in discussions that makes us all think about things differently.
• Jethro Q Walrustitty: Again, Scandinavian. Inspiring idealistic guy.
• Dragon Quest Z: Tries hard for this wiki, so we can't fault him there, even if he goes overboard at times.
• Ccoa: Manages to stay reasonable for the most part through our heated trope discussions.
• Fawriel: Have to admire how he tries to be a good person.
