Looks good enough. Is that Ruka I see? 'Cause if it is then HELL YEAH.
Definitely looked like her. I wasn't sure when the scene with her in the dress showed up, but the scene with the apple was much clearer.

So I take it they're starting from the beginning of the manga, judging by the vending machine scene, but with Ruka in there somewhere. Hmm.

It's not like it's hard to add Ruka. She's not really connected to the rest of the plot in any meaningful way.
I'm guessing this is just going to be an AU version of the story that actually, y'know, ends.
Two things I noticed! One, the manga seems to be covering time more quickly than it did before. It's already mid July when Nishizawa's birthday was mid May. Actually, I'm not sure that's really much faster than usual, but it seems like it! Second, Hayate and Yukiji appear to have the same birthday.
...They must have a birthday chapter dedicated to those two. I don't care if it's cliched. It must happen.
Well, Hayate is sure to get one. Nagi is working to earn money for that watch, after all.

It'll probably be how no one cares about Yukiji on their mutual birthday and her trying to get the attention of everyone. Then the other teacher is the only person to remember.
Well, Hayate will remembet. He might not care though.
Hina would probably be struggling between attending to both of them, but will ultimately go wish Hayate a Happy Birthday after remembering the gifts her sis gave her.
