At least he'll do a better job representing Wizard Saints against Acno than krusty-ass Serena.

But he shouldn't, and that's why it's bullshit.

This manga truly gets better whenever Acnologia shows up. He's the only antagonist with any credibility whatsover who's genuinely threatening

Well, considering what this series is, we can expect that to not last very long.

I think the only thing we don't know is why Lucy's mom died around the same time the Dragon's sealed themselves inside the Dragon Slayers, and that's probably just a big coincidence anyway.

We already know why Layla died. When opening the Eclipse Gate for the infant Dragon Slayers to arrive in the present, She needed to sacrifice her life to make up for the missing Golden Gate Key.

This is just a nitpick, but wasn't Christina redesigned to accommodate for Dragon Slayers when Ichiya and the B team rescued Team Natsu and Makarov from Ajeel? Did Mashima forget about that when Wendy got sick at the end of this recent chapter?

Ok what the fuck, now she's alive too? Mashima has really written himself into a hole in regards to Acno.

I am reminded of the final arc of Naruto.

Did the manga say she was dead because we have a few characters that should honestly be dead so it feels weird to get bent out of shape now in regards to this.

It just said that she helped open one side of the gate I think. We all assumed she stayed in the past, but considering what we know, it actually makes some sense that she came with them.

That being said, Fuck you Mashima.

Its just weird how she just now shows up completely out of nowhere.

Well that's what happens when you clearly start making things up as you go along.

She only has to stick around long enough to have a descendant before going through the gate. Maybe she has the celestial spirit king key and will unleash his power since if memory serves he was limited in time due to the fact that Lucy did not have a lot of magic power at the time.

But I thought the key was only summonable via breaking another key.

Then again, If Mashima wants to break that rule, then I'm not complaining. Now that's she's gotten rid of Aquarius, I figure she shouldn't have to break any other keys.

I could be mistaken, but I thought Aquarius seemed to imply there was a key at one point, but it became lost or something like that. Anna keeping it and going through time would be an explanation for that if that is the case.

Not complaining, really. I'd love for Lucy to gain the Celestial Spirit King Key...

Even if I have no faith in Mashima not screwing her over again so that Natsu can Nakama bullshit his way to victory, and Erza can do the same because she's Erza.
