What,so that people can't make jokes about Zeref being a killer kisser?

There is only one gold key for each spirit. Break it and they cannot be summoned.

So it basically means Aquarius, for all intents and purposes, is dead. Her impact on the rest of the story is the same either way.

Welp Mavis and Zeref is canon kiss = confirmed :P

Hah shit they really kissed? My god I think am squeeing a little inside cause wow that makes me happy in a way I cant even descirbe with words. Haha maybe Natsu should pay more respect to Mavis now that shes his brothers girlfriend, hahaha!!!

I get that Aquarius lost her first mistress, and Lucy was a vastly different kind of person with no elegance or formality, so at least we get some explanation for her behavior... but she acted like that ALL the time! That's just plain cruel.

I don't care if she has some excuse.

She spat on the memory of her first mistress by acting the way she did, especially since there were a few instances where Lucy either nearly died or got badly hurt due to Aquarius unreliability.

Is that how you remember the girl's mother? By throwing her daughter under the bus every chance you get?

Well perhaps that's why she wanted to be set free. A part of her felt guilty about her actions and wanted to let Lucy be free from her torment...

Guessing the whole thing is kinda like with Minerva, they act like jackasses their whole first appearance but later on they get a contrived backstory or excuse that's supposed to justify their behavior but it fails to garner sympathy on account of their being no foreshadowing for their reasoning & the fact their horrid behavior was to repugnant to take even with their excuse shown

Well,to be less sappy than Mavis and Lucy,that "magic"(since it's more of an origin) stems from emotion.Erza,Jellal,and Ultear,"awakened" their weapon telekinesis and random explodey magic respectively,after experiencing extreme emotion.

Since MavisxZeref is canon now, did you see their relationship in Zero as something romantic? Until know I only saw a kind little girl being nice to a lonely cursed man without anything really romantic.

As for Aquarius, I never liked her, she was a real bitch to Lucy and I think Lucy is better off without her.

At first prolly no, when it started it really was simple acts of kindness towards a broken man & he repayed back. Afterwards prolly when Mavis got older she started liking him more as time passed & now that hes really the only person who she can relate to & not kill now the feelings blossomed into something romantic. She did initiate the kiss right? Cause I think Zeref just wants the companionship with the romance being irrelevant.

If magic is love does this mean the Nasuverse was right all along... Sex is the way to ultimate power?

Natsu will be the strongest anyway because of Nakama bullshit.

He loves his Nakama, so strongest of all asspull victory.

And then Erza is right behind him doing the same.

No Erza will be even worse. She won't even have the Nakama powerup. She'll win....because she's ERZA!

Yeesh I hope to god the 12 live up to the hype & dont turn out to be pussys.

Magic seems to vary from person to person though some is implied to be taught or given.

That hope is pretty unlikely.

Maybe there will be a few good moments here and there however. Fairy Tail usually has a few things that can still be considered cool.

I find it rather interesting how villains usually receive more love & support than the heroes. Can anyone give some reasons why?

Rooting for the Empire, the tendency for the people to find the heroes boring (for both good and bad reasons), cheering for said villains because they are sexy, the villain having a valid point, etc etc.

Often, people just end up disliking the heroes so much for one reason or another that they will cheer for anyone who could invariably beat them.

Helps that the villains are usually more unique or interesting than the heroes. I mean look at Zeref I think we all never expected the legendary dark lord of the Fairy Tail verse to be such a sad & sympathetic person who actually cry's on screen. I think we all went to his side when he finally showed himself.

Well it's not like any villains besides Zeref and Acnologia last for an arc. You get Jellal, Ultear, and Minerva but they all went good. >_>
