Wasn't it actually a character development arc? I.e. she was wearing armour all the time, but after dealing with her Tower of Heaven baggage unwound a bit.

Something I've been wondering, do you think Sting and Rogue reacting to Igneel's appearance means their dragons are still alive somehow and inside them or was it just apart of them being "true" dragon slayers?

It's kind of a shame that Gray doesn't really get to do much. He'd probably make a better protagonist.

going by Hiro's usual pattern of Quality Raises/Drops ,next chaps should be decent at least.
as long as we see no more Erza than those few panels,i'm fine with anything,really.
