i'd assume one needs time to recharge the DS Lachryma after using DF.or something among those lines.granted,it's been weeks story wise, but maybe they're just that slow.
nice cover.kinda early though.◊

Secret SignatureI think I'm going to start reading Fairy Tail. I've read lots of random chapters so far.
When did Lucy's boobs become bigger than her head?
"You can't change the world without getting your hands dirty."So what's Laxus` excuse for not using it?
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.he doesnt want to ruin his shirt.
Secret SignatureI thought Laxus was using dragonforce whenever he used his magic because he's Second Gen? It makes his attacks stronger than a regular dragon slayers but when they go dragon force they easily out power him.
At least that's what the Fairy Tail wiki says, I'm not sure how reliable they are.
Laxus was clearly stronger than both Natsu and Gajeel and only lost after he wasted most of his magic on Fairy Law.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.EDIT: Never mind.

Neither Second gen DS has ever explicitly used Dragon Force, though there's a theory that they're always using a weaker version- hence why they're stronger than the first gens.

Natsu has technically lost Three times in the manga history
The Owl dude, needed to be saved by Gray
Vs Cobra, Eric had basically won, Natsu was paralzyed and was only saved cause Brain is literally the dumbest mother ***** in the manga
Vs Silver
I wouldn't really count the second one since that's the biggest case of Plot Induced Stupidity ever.
And pretty much, Natsu only wins when it matters. Ironically, for all of the shit we give Natsu, its Erza who gets the more bullshit wins in this manga.
In fact, I don't think she's ever had a clean loss before.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.vs Ichiya.she can never impede him.
Secret SignatureErza gets less shit because her fights aren't as important and are less likely to be nonsensical. Of course, her fight have been getting more nonsensical lately, but it's not like we held back from hating her for it then.
Didn't Natsu get beaten by Aria and by Zancrow initially?
IIRC, it looked like he was going to lose against Zancrow, but then he just kind of went lolwillpower and one-shotted him.
I honestly don't remember him fighting Aria at all, though. I can vaguely recall that guy being about to hit Natsu with a one-hit KO when somebody unless stops it, but that the closest I got.
It gets boring when the good guys miraculously win all the bloody time, just once I'd like to see an actual loss *Acnologia not included* with maybe a sprinkle of death. Sometimes I wonder why I'm obsessed with the deaths of fictional cahatacters and then I remember, if it is done right it makes you more attached to the story. Mashima should take risks...hmm on second thought maybe not. You know the badass boss is gonna lose once he/she enters their true form.
It actually wasn't that bad early in the story; the bullshit really started becoming present around Tenrou Island.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.I was calling bullshit on Natsu's fights as early as Phantom Lord, personally. It's just that he used to be the only character who would always win through nonsense.

oh right, Natsu vs. that Fire Mage and was able to overpower his flames....because reasons.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does. That's another thing that pisses me off, Natsu always being the guy to fight the boss because all the other mages in his guild are incompetent bastards not capable of defending themselves...ok maybe 75 percent of them but still. You have characters like Erza very capable of beating the big bad boss but NOOOO. Natsu is about as generic as an erection...ok maybe that's too harsh, I do like this manga but still.
The sheer invincibility of the characters is one of my biggest issues with the series. It's basically sucked all the tension out, because I know that every hardship they'll just power through with no consequences. It's so bad, I actively WANT bad things to happen to the guild, just to get some drama out, like Erza being crippled as a result of her fight, or Natsu turning out to be END, and being a situation that Friendship can't solve on it's own.
A corpse should be left well enough alone.../is still hoping for a 'END beats the crap out of Grey and Natsu and then rides Acnologia off into the sunset' ending for this arc.
Honestly, I didn't think this series was that bad at first, but holy shit it has deteriorated. If it was just cliche like it started, I'd be alright but it's badly cliche'd to the point when logic and reasoning it just ignored because "FRIENDSHIP" apparently can make you do fucking anything.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does. It's sad, because Zero shows that Mashima still has some talent left inside him. But Fairy Tail has become way overpowered, so much that Grimoire Heart still feels more dangerous than Tartarus, even though it's supposed to be the other way around. Mostly because Natsu and Erza have friendshipped their way to victory too much by now. But even though this isn't at the manga's lowest, I'm finding it real hard to care about what's going on right now.
That comparison pisses me off for some reason.
