I am deliberately ignoring X and pretending it's irrelevant to the story even though I know it's not. Because I may have bought two consoles mainly to play KH games, but there's a fucking line here.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.I don't believe Terra and Aqua have any romantic involvement, but I won't lie, the stuff they go through would be the makings of a glorious tragic romance if it were played that way.
Like her saving Terranort and giving herself to the Realm of Darkness. That scene is fire.
Our Party busted it's ass all week for the Union/Regelia Armor. We ranked in the 50s in Vulpes. Vulpes has the coolest armor.
Live your life.I kind of hate that those armors are such a super specific reward. I want to have Keyblader Armor set for Union Cross but they never have any. Some of the scenes would be REALLY cool if I were wearing more badass armor.
I'm convinced that the only reason Nomura made KHUX plot-relevant was to deliberately fuck with people.
I'm not surprised.
I have a message from another time...At Nomura fucking with people or with me assuming that must be his intent?
The latter. We all have our own stances around here.
I have a message from another time...I'm 100% convinced that the union armors were made so exclusive to tie into the fact that the keyblade war was because everyone was fighting over the light (lux).
because isnt that exactly what happened after all?
"There's not a girl alive who wouldn't be happy being called cute." ~Tamamo-no-MaeYou guys think we're gonna see The Keyblade War?
We do see the Keyblade War. In the original Chi we see the avatar get caught up in it, and they end up fighting all the union leaders and end up almost dying in vain. They're barely saved by Ephemer and Skuld who pull them into the Sleeping World before they lose their heart.
We're also really close to seeing it KHUX.

"There's not a girl alive who wouldn't be happy being called cute." ~Tamamo-no-MaeSo I don't play the mobile game, but who are the sides and why are they fighting?
New theme music also a boxThe sides are the 5 Unions and their Union Leaders. They're fighting for a good handful of reasons- for lux (or "the light" as it's called elsewhere), that one of the Union Leaders is a traitor to all five unions (no idea who it is or even if there is one), that they have no choice BUT to fight because if they don't they'll get destroyed... etc etc.
It's important to note that the reasons that the non-union leaders are fighting (being "for the light" and that they traded in the power of light for darkness for more power) directly parallel what the actual real world players do (competing with other unions for lux, cheating to get more lux, use reversed medals and the power of darkness in order to deal more damage, etc) which is a super interesting and nice touch.
No mention of the Chi-Blade, which is surprising considering that BBS placed a bit of emphasis that the Keyblade War was fought over it. So the Chi-Blade's role in the Keyblade War has yet to be stated.
There's also what could be called a rogue faction called the "Dandelions" that were hand picked to avoid the keyblade war and be the last light in the world after the Keyblade War inevitably kills everyone. Your character is offered to be part of the dandelions, and makes friends with two of the most important members, but initially rejects their offer because they weren't sure about the legitimacy of having loyalties outside of their union.
Your character is almost killed in the keyblade war and almost falls to darkness when trying to stop the fighting. But, Ephemer and Skuld come and save you and take you with them as part of the dandelions.
That happened in Chi, the web browser game. KHUX takes place in a Sleeping World at some point after (before? during? remember that sleeping worlds have no concept of time) the keyblade war, where all the dandelions have no memory of the Keyblade War except the new union leaders.
We're almost at the point where the Keyblade War is going to happen again in the Sleeping World, however. Or at the very least your avatar is getting close to gaining their memories back, which they're not supposed to be doing.

"There's not a girl alive who wouldn't be happy being called cute." ~Tamamo-no-MaeBut will we get to see the Keyblade Way with BUDGET? MOOLA? CASH???
Right, that sounds super interesting ,thank you
New theme music also a boxChi and KHUX's story is actually quite interesting. The problem is that the story updates take forever to come out, and are permeated with filler (cough cough fucking agrabah) and terrible gameplay and a very baity gacha system.
That said, you can get through the entirety of the story so far with just friend medals and what new medals you roll, so it's not like the game ever gets so difficult where you have to spend money or a ton of time to progress. It's mostly all the extra stuff (like costumes) and good rewards that are locked behind whale territory.

Well, you can give it cash, if you want that. Sell your soul.
I will never give my heart over to the darkness, even for the lore!
New theme music also a boxI think what makes Union Cross so confusing is that A LOT of things aren't really outright explained and are left way too implied or hinted at.
like, the original Chi ended with Maleificent in the Enchanted Forest talking about how Sora wouldn't find her there. This never gets explained and my theory is that we're not in a Sleeping world and actually a recorded simulation in one of the Books of Prophesy (The one Maleificent has).
Even the Sleeping World bit isn't outright stated as far as I remember and is only speculation. It's hard to keep track of info because THERE'S JUST THAT MUCH FILLER. THERE'S OVER 700 QUESTS IN THIS THING!
Shifting topics a bit, this is something that's bugged me for a while: if Riku was the original intended wielder of the keyblade and it only switched to Sora at the last moment when Riku gave into darkness, why did Sora have that awakening dream?
Sympathetic magic or something, I'll bet. the darkness was close to their world, so perhaps everyone who had the magic in them was starting to get visions related to it
I have a message from another time...It is made possible by dreams and magic!
Check out my YouTube-channel, if you wantKeyblades have minor precognition; while Riku hadn't yet fallen to darkness at that time, the Keyblade already knew he would.
That's my Fan Wank and I'm stickin' to it.
Trouble Cube continues to be a general-purpose forum for those who desire such a thing.
Can confirm that global KHUX is an absolute mess. I mean, from a game design standpoint JP isn't much better, they just get WAY more free things than global ever does or ever will.
It's honestly one of the worst mobile games I've ever played.
That said, if you're talking strictly story mode, you only need one or two medals that invalidate any challenge and you can breeze through the whole thing- and (thankfully?) they're part of a now permanent medal pack so you can get it whenever you need to if you're lucky.
