That's not how it works, though. Nomura literally says that Roxas can use two because Sora can, and Roxas is part of Sora. Like. Case closed. Done. Roxas having anything from Ventus not necessary.

I mean. A Nobody's real self is based on who their Heartless is. If Ven's heart stuck with Sora's, then Roxas was formed when those two combined hearts fell to darkness together.

Okay but then you're proposing that Roxas grew a heart within a week? Because he's already able to show emotions by that point.

Sora can use two because he has Ventus' heart as well as his own.

Ventus isn't a part that makes up Sora's body. He's a heart that exists alongside Sora within his body.

And Sora never uses two until Roxas learns to use two.

So they say that they aren't changing any of the games in 1.5 + 2.5 but I personally really hope/wish that they would add a "retry" option like in BBS.

Anyone else have ideal changes to the games in that correction? Minor or otherwise?

Like, I did like how 1.5 changed some things. With Combo Master and EXP Zero. And the ability to skip cutscenes the first time.

Actual 1000 Heartless Battle with bigger Heartless?

Kingdom Hearts Zero,Keyblade War Musou.

Kingdom Hearts Warriors would be so awesome. It'd basically be the 1000 Heartless battle but with even more Heartless and with far more on screen at once.

x5 II should get minor QoL changes like letting you access your inventory and stuff in the world map. That's the only thing I can think of that isn't related to fixing bugs found in the II.5 version since the game is already well-designed (especially for Level 1).

Another thing I've always wondered is why young Xehanort has almost the exact same design as Terra.

Is Nomura trying to force a parallel there between Xehanort-Terra and Ventus-Sora?

If anybody is curious, the speedrun record for 0.2 is 26:02 on Beginner.

Ventus only kind of resembles Sora. He even has a different facial model iirc.

I follow a guy who has been trying to beat that record...wonder why his runs aren't up yet, I'm pretty sure he's beat at least the 6th place person.

Edit: Yeah, his time is 28:19, not sure why he's not up there...unless I'm looking at the wrong speedrunning site.

Beat Re:Coded (again)!

It's definitely one of my favorite games in the series, even if only the ending of the game really matters. The story was still good, and nothinf felt like i was retreading old ground.

Something that I caught- Maleficent considers Data Sora saving her repayment for her saving Sora in II.

Castle Oblivion was amazingly done and is certainly a fantastic end world.

My only issues with Re: Coded are the controls being really wonky at points (never got used to auto-jumping) and the fact that some of the world gimmicks just aren't fun (I'm looking at you Olympus). It's a shame it never got a rerelease, because a Re: Re: Coded would be an absolute delight to play.

Now onto TWEWY so I'm all ready to play DDD on Console!

Can you please tell me what was good about Re:coded's story?

I'm not trying to be condescending, it's just that I can't remember anything about it other than the cliffnotes.

Basically there was always a good reason why Data Sora is where he is, and whatever Data Sora is doing contributes to the overall natrative as well as directly relating to it

There was never a point in Re: Coded where I was like "why am i here?" or "how does this relate to the journal and it's bugs?".

It wasn't anything super unique and deep and astounding, mind you, and in relation to the whole series Re: Coded's story is mostly pointless and doesn't go anywhere (save for literally only the last world).

so overall it's good because character motivations, individual worlds, and the overall plot flow together perfectly, even if the events themselves don't matter in the grand scheme of things

I actually had the most fun with Olympus (and I was disappointed Cloud hadn't said that Cerberus was familiar in the movie). I'm pretty sure I hated Wonderland (especially its boss) the most.

BBS was planned during KH 2, 3D was planned during coded. coded's ending. coded's Episode 8.

Actually, not even, that was all Re:coded only.

0.2 is. I mean. It's hard to tell. It depends on how much of it is actually Volume 2 and how much of it is "HOLY SHIT KH 3 is taking a long time for us, these worlds are a bitch to program for, quick somebody stall for time".
