@Mad: I believe Nomura said something about how they might. Until then, we know for sure that we have the Keyblade-dependent weapon transformations.

So I'm replaying KHI Final Remix, Gotta say picking shield makes the game a looooot easier. I could legitimately tank Ursula (Ariel was also tanking, take away her combat spells was a good idea). Only died once to Mega Thundaga.

She's still an utter bitch though, I do NOT look forward to Hollow bastion.

I don't think that I've ever picked the shield. I'll have to keep that in mind.

I picked it during my Proud run.

Still died a lot.

Pick Staff and drop Shield for ultimate squishiness.

You playing on HD 1.5 ReMIX? Because that's how I started my experience.

But yeah, Ursula's a big pain to fight (no pun intended). One of the hardest bosses I've fought in the series.

I defeated Dragon Maleficent in one try, but that's because I stocked up on potions before I pursued her after defeating her first form.

I did that. You also don't get Counterattack in forever. My purgatory will be replaying Riku-Ansem eternally.

I always drop the sword.

Because I was new to the series, I didn't really know what I was doing, so I just decided to drop the staff and pick up the sword when I began KHIFM on HD 1.5 ReMIX. Because re:coded's beginning was pretty much the same as KHI's beginning, I did the same thing there.

Well, hey. If you're doing 1.5, taking the sword gets you the combo of Second Chance, Leaf Bracer, and MP Rage earlier than any other configuration (69 instead of 90).

However, it is the last one to get Leaf Bracer, so there's that.

Y'know, I could totally think of a parody of Devo's "Whip It" called "Ship It". It's like a plot bunny but for a song.

I don't think I've ever got that combo; I had Sora in his 40s or 50s (in terms of level) when I defeated Ansem. And I pressed onward to finish up the first collection and move on to the second.

You know what Disney villain would make a good Xehanort? Davy Jones. This is a character who removed his own, physical heart in order to get rid of the pain of his metaphorical heart. A prime choice for a vessel.

The recruitment scene would be great as well. Sora, finishing a big boss battle, winds up for the finisher. Then time stops. Sora hangs in midair, and Jones looks around confused. Then a figure in a black cloak walks out of the shadows, approaches Davy Jones, and asks him a simple question.

"Do you fear death?"
