I like Lubchansky's art, but I feel it's meant to depict something along the lines of Adventure Time; something much wackier than CQ.

By the way, does Pokemon Go actually have a shared world as far as wild pokemon encounters are related? (i.e. can someone playing Pokemon Go see a wild pokemon some other player is battling?)

You can't see other players in game, but both players can see and catch the same pokémon when it spawns. Even gym battles are kinda non-interactive. You leave a pokémon at the gym to defend it and the a.i. fights challengers for you.
