Both parties jumped back in surprise, but ultimately never made contact. With an annoyed scrowl, the other person - a woman in her early twenties - called out as she continued walking.

Grumbling to himself, two thoughts crossed Steve's mind as he walked away.
Wasn't she one of those intern chicks Marten had to deal with?
Taking a bite of his danish, the situation seemed ridiculous. Dropping the paper pastry bag into a nearby trashcan, Steve focused more on the second thought.
Man, she was pretty hot though - if I were single, that might have gone better!
Coming back to his senses, Steve noticed his phone ringing.
It was Cosette.
An icy bolt of dread shot down his spine.
She knows.
Gabby barely had any screentime, which is a shame. She basically had "attentive intern" and "my hair's an afro because of the humidity" going for her, and not much else.

yeah, you have it right, and you all are aware those piercings come in different styles, right? not just the solid ring.
EDIT: ok, y'all do have a point and some of them are just dumb looking but i've seen quite tasteful ones and as a body mod.....afficionado, you could perhaps say, i might be biased as i'm more used to them.

Septum rings look ugly as hell. Basically the only way to pull them off is if you're, like, a gang enforcer who goes by Butch.

To be honest, pulling off any piece of piercing is probably rather painful and a bloody mess.
Actually, I imagine a really tiny ring that doesn't hang but hugs the cartilage would-
I won't say looks good, I'm no judge of that, but certainly look different.
I feel like that would look even more like a booger.
It's... really probably the least attractive piercing to me. Followed by those sternum piercings or whatever they are.
